The following are some general notes on adding documents:

  • The supported document types are: Adobe's Portable Document Format (.pdf), Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx), Open Office (.odt), Text (.txt), and Rich Text Format (.rtf).
  • The maximum file size for uploaded documents is 16 MB. 
  • Document file names should not contain any of the following comma-separated characters: *, /, \, :, <, >, |, ?, ".

  • A document's name cannot contain the string "esigned".

  • Password-protected documents are not supported.
  • Corrupted documents are not supported.

To add documents to a transaction

  1. Open the relevant transaction from the Transaction List page. 
  2. Go to the Documents section. 
  3. Click Add Document and select the file from your local machine, or drag and drop the document to the upload section.
  4. Drag and drop documents into the correct order using the Sequence icon () on the left.
  5. Click the More icon () to take the following actions:
    1. Click Preview to preview a document.
    2. Click Rename to rename a document.
    3. Click Remove to delete a document.
    4. Click Move Up and Move Down to change the document order.
