End-User Interface

Quote Screen Layout

Using Performance Quoting users can define a real quoting process with steps and sub-steps (pages) guiding you through the quoting process.

Let's discover how you can have access to all the relevant information he needs to build a quote through his navigation from page to page.

A page is composed of several elements:

  • pageTop: contains header/total information and the process bar.
  • pageCenter: the main content of the page displaying grids, fields, charts, etc.
  • pageLeft: contains information on the line selected.
  • pageFooter: displays information on the active grid (number of lines, selected lines etc.).

PAGE TOP

The pageTop is divided into 3 elements:

  • quoteHeader: displays information that can be personalized and various actions
  • quoteSubHeader: displays quote highlights
  • processBar: displays the steps and pages

Quote Header

The quoteHeader contains 3 elements:

  • topBar: displays a logo and text that can be personnalized for your environment.
  • profileMenu: under Settings, you can open a menu to change the language and the display currency (See how currencies are managed in the quote)
  • quoteSynchro: this button allows you to close the quote and synchronize data into the CRM
  • quoteInvite: this action allows you to share the quote as part of the Collaborative Quoting experience
  • helpMenu: the help menu allows you to have access to get some help on the quoting experience.

Quote Sub-Header

The quoteSubHeader is composed of:

  • quoteTitle: displays the quote Name
  • quoteHeaderTabs: allows you to display totals/headers through quoteHeaderTab
  • quoteHeaderTab: displays headers/totals information. A panel is displayed when you click on the tab.

Process Bar

The process bar allows you to navigate the quote through steps and pages. A step may contain one or several pages. The process bar can be represented in two ways:

  1. With bullets representing each step of the quoting workflow and sub-menus listing the corresponding pages for each step:

  1. With tabs representing each step of the quoting workflow and sub-menus listing the corresponding pages for each step:

PAGE CENTER

The Page Center element can contain several panels such as:

Panels minimum sizes to display content are:

PANEL TYPEMIN. WIDTH IN PIXELSMIN. HEIGHT IN PIXELS
Catalog30055
Grid30055
Quote line Comparator30055
Totals30055
Chart - Pie, Donut, Gauge, Waterfall450255
Important: The display of the panels depends on screen resolution.

PAGE LEFT

The Page Left is used to display additional information about the quote:

PAGE FOOTER

The Page footer element can be added to any page including a spreadsheet grid. It displays information about the number of lines, folders, products in the grid.

UI PERSONALIZATION

All panels in the Performance Quoting interface can be maximized or minimized. This allows you to display/hide panels.

Process Bar

NAVIGATION

Using the process bar, you can navigate into the quoting process thanks to steps and pages. A step can contain several pages and a page can contain several widgets.

The process bar can be represented in two ways:

  1. With bullets representing each step of the quoting workflow and sub-menus listing the corresponding pages for each step:

  1. With tabs representing each step of the quoting workflow and sub-menus listing the corresponding pages for each step:

PROCESS, STEPS, AND VIEWS

The Quote is where you will design the whole Process of assembling products and services, negotiating the prices for the offer, and generating the proposal.

To guide you on your quoting journey, you are going to organize this process in Steps.

Note: Any Step can be split across multiple Pages.

Each Step / Page provides a particular View of the quote. A view can present:

  • A Catalog
  • A Configuration
  • Grids
  • Fields
  • Charts
  • A mix of above elements
  • Etc

In the Pricing step below, the All page displays a grid, a total panel and a chart.

In the Pricing step below, the Food page only displays food products in the grid and the corresponding total in the Totals panel, as well as a Waterfall diagram.

Quote Fields

Performance quoting allow the display of computed values at the quote level.

These fields are calculated in real time based on the quote lines included in the quote. They can be:

  • Total fields
  • Score fields

They can be displayed :

  • in the header banner - as highlights - either with a collapsed display:

  • or displayed as highlights in an expanded mode:

  • Quote fields can also be displayed in a dedicated widget:

A customizable tooltip can be associated with a given field to provide additional information:

For Monetary and Monetary Per Quantity type fields, if Show Converted Prices has been selected for this field in the quote model, then a widget is displayed to show the current value converted in all currencies declared in the quote model.

Spreadsheet Grid

The spreadsheet grid panel contains an action bar, columns, and quote lines.

A customizable tooltip can be associated with a given column to give additional information:

ACTION BAR

The action bar allows you to:

  • filter
  • sort
  • arrange columns
  • execute actions
  • search in the catalog
  • etc

Filtering

General

Filtering capabilities allow you to display a subset of a quote in the grid. The filter interface helps you define which filters to add.

The filter interface is composed of several elements:

  • A filter panel, accessible by a click on the "Filter" action in the Quote spreadsheet action bar

  • A filter summary bar, at the top of the Quote spreadsheet, automatically opened when you set a filter or when you manually open it from the Quote spreadsheet action bar

Using the Filter panel

Filtering criteria

The filter panel can be used to define the filtering criteria to apply on the Quote spreadsheet. It comes with the following capabilities :

  • The filter can be set by defining criteria on one or several Quote columns. In this case, a row should match with all criteria to be retrieved as part of the filter result.
  • Some operators (like Equals or Not Equals) can be associated to several values. In this case, the cell should match one of those values to be considered as part of the filter result
  • Example : Filter on "Discount %" Equals "10%","20%" will retrieve any line with a "Discount %" equals to 10% or 20%

Filtering scope

In addition to the declaration of filter criteria on columns with operators and value(s), the filter panel offers options to refine the scope of the filtering action.

Filter on All or Folders

  • This option is only interesting when filtering on grids with folders
  • When filtering with the "All" mode selected, all the quote lines of the view will be part of the filtering scope, whatever their type. Any line that matches the filtering criteria will automatically be part of the result, with all its parent lines (even if those don't match the filtering criteria).
  • When filtering with the "Folders" mode selected, only folder-typed lines of the view will be part of the filtering scope. Any folder line that matches the filtering criteria will automatically be part of the result, with all its content (folder or product child lines, even if those don't match the filtering criteria).

Using the Filter Summary Bar

The filter summary bar has several purposes:

  • Summarizing the list of active filtering criteria applied to the Quote view, if any
  • Proposing additional options to display or hide elements part of the filtering outcome:
  • Show: this mode allows restricting the lines displayed in the filtered Quote view based on their type:
  • All: default mode that displays all the Quote lines
  • Folders only: filtering mode displaying FOLDER-typed lines only. The content of the folders is hidden.
  • Products only: filtering mode displaying PRODUCT-typed and SPECIFIC-typed lines only.

Folders are hidden.

  • Product Flat Mode: filtering mode displaying PRODUCT-typed and SPECIFIC-typed lines only. Folders are hidden. The difference with the "Products only" mode is that the products here are displayed all at the same level in the product hierarchy (flat display).
  • All Lines Flat Model: filtering mode displaying all the lines at the same level of hierarchy (flat display).
  • Show Product Sub-Rows: this mode is dedicated to the display of sub-rows for products with a hierarchy, like configurable products
    • Matching: show any product sub-row matching the filtering criteria, as well as its parents up to the product root line. Others sub-rows not matching the filtering criteria are hidden.
    • All: show all sub-rows of all products matching the filtering criteria, even if those sub-rows do not match the filtering criteria
    • None: all product sub-rows are hidden. If a sub-row matches the filtering criteria, only the root line of the corresponding product will be displayed
  • Removing any active filtering criteria and resetting the display modes described above to their default value (via the Remove All action)

Filtering behaviors

This paragraph shows an example of the filtering behaviors when mixing the filtering and display options above.

The behavior of the rest of the "Filter on folders" use cases is the same as for the Filter on All without criteria

Filtering Levels

The modes described above can be applied both at the admin and user levels.

In that case, the admin filter may be more restrictive than the user filter. In that case though, the result of the user filter, even if less restrictive than the admin filter, is restricted to the admin filter values and does not display elements already filtered by the admin filter.

Modifications on filtered lines

On User Input on a sub-line in the Quote, if the value entered implies that the corresponding sub-row does not match the filtering criteria anymore, the sub-line and all its hierarchy is removed from the filtering view.

On User Input on a product root line in the Quote,

  • if the value entered implies that the corresponding root line does not match the filtering criteria anymore, and that no sub-line matches the filtering criteria, the root line is removed from the filtering view.
  • if the value entered implies that the corresponding root line does not match the filtering criteria anymore, but at least one sub-line matches the filtering criteria,
  • the root line is still displayed with its sub-lines matching the criteria ("Show Matching Sub-Rows")
  • or the root line is still displayed with all its sub-lines ("Show All Sub-rows")
  • or the root line is not displayed ("Show No Sub-Rows")

Using the Quick Filter

In case the filter panel has been enabled for a grid component, you also have the capability to quickly filter from a cell.

By doing a right-click and select Quick Filter, a new criteria will be added to the current filter as such :

  • column = the selected cell column
  • value = the selected cell value
  • operator = equals

It will then reduce the list to rows with the same value as the one of the cell used for the quick filter.

Specific cases

  • In case of a Quick filter on a grid with some filtering conditions already set on some other columns, then those conditions will remain and the quick filter will be added to those conditions.
  • In case of a Quick filter on a column which is already part of the filtering conditions, then the existing filter on that column is deleted and the quick filter is set as expected.
  • In case of a Quick filter on a business type of column, then the condition added by the quick filter will be done on the column name and not on the label

Sorting

Sorting is easily available by clicking on the arrow next to the column name. The sorting criteria can then be in ascending or descending order.

You can also use the Sort interface to add more conditions:

For Configurable Products, sorting quote lines applies at two different levels:

  • Root lines are sorted based on the sorting rules/criteria, like any other product line in the Quote
  • Sub-lines are sorted based on the sorting rules/criteria, within the Configurable Product hierarchy

This is due to the fact that sub-lines must remain associated to their root line. Here is an illustration of the sorting of Configurable Products:

Arranging columns and Columns Preset

Arrange Menu

The administrator is able to define a default display of the grid in the Quote Designer (columns displayed, order, etc..). Then through the Arrange menu, you are able to update this display.

The Arrange menu allows you to:

  • Reorder columns: you can drag and drop each line of the list of columns. The order column represents the order in which the columns are displayed in this view of the quote grid.
  • Hide columns: each column with this option checked is made invisible in this view of the quote grid. It means that the column is present in the view but invisible to end users.
  • Dock columns: when checking the Fix option for a given column, it docks it at the beginning of the column list. It implies that this column stays visible even when scrolling horizontally in the quote grid.

The Reset Default action allows to clear all changes and reset the column arrangement to the definition set by the administrator in the quote model.

Columns Preset

The Administrator can define column presets on a grid. Column presets contain a group of columns and allow you to select a predefined view of the grid. For example, a preset representing only pricing columns can be defined, or another one displaying only product information, etc. When a preset is selected, the Arrange menu is disabled (you cannot change the order or the visibility of columns when you select a column preset).

Presets are accessible in the section Columns display of the View menu:

The preset selection does not impact the other users. Preset are selected for a given user. That means, on the same grid, User A can select the Pricing Info preset and User B the Shipping. On the same grid, the 2 users are able to display different data.

The Quote Preferences entry corresponds to the default display of the grid (for which the Arrange

menu is available). It corresponds to the mode when no column preset is selected.

Administrator Configuration vs. User Preferences

As described above, by default, the arrangement of columns in a given view of the quote grid is defined by the Administrator in the quote model.

However, individual users can override the default column arrangement made by the Administrator in the quote model. This scenario is driven by user preferences and comes with specifics:

  • By default, each individual user starts with the arrangement defined by the Administrator in the quote model

  • When a given user changes the default arrangement, either in the Arrangement menu or by dragging and dropping columns manually in the quote grid, this configuration is persisted in the local storage of the user's web browser.

    • This change in the column arrangement is not applied to the other users accessing the same quote grid.

    • This arrangement applies to all quotes for this user, e.g. every new quote created or every existing quote opened by this user will have this column arrangement applied automatically by default.

  • The Reset Default action in the Arrange menu allows each user to re-apply the column arrangement made by the Administrator in the quote model. However, in that scenario, the reset action only impacts this user and not all of them.

  • Column presets have the same behavior in that scenario, meaning that they apply per user and not to all.

Quote Model Changes

In this scenario, the Administrator can make changes to columns in the quote model, like moving, adding, or removing columns in a given quote grid (view/ component). Such modifications are then applied for all users accessing that quote grid and replace the previous column arrangement for all users at the same time.

An alternative exists to that scenario consisting of overriding the default column arrangement made by the Administrator in the quote model with column arrangements made locally by each individual user. This scenario is driven by user preferences and comes with specifics:

  • By default, each individual user starts with the arrangement defined by the Administrator in the quote model
  • When a given user changes the default arrangement, either in the Arrangement menu or by dragging and dropping columns manually in the quote grid, this configuration is persistent in the local storage of the user's web browser.

Web Browser Local Storage

The column arrangements are stored for each quote view/ component, for each user. The storage is made in the local storage of each user's web browser.

This implies that:

  • These user preferences will be lost anytime the local storage of your web browser is cleared.
  • These user preferences are local to each web browser:
    • For example, if you access a given quote from Firefox, the column arrangement may be different than if you access the same quote from Chrome.
    • If you access a given quote from your web browser on your laptop, the column arrangement may be different than if you access it from your tablet.
  • The authorization for Smart CPQ to access the local storage must be granted in each web browser or the user preferences will not apply.

Quote Model Changes

In this scenario, the Administrator can make changes to columns in the quote model, like moving, adding, or removing columns in a given quote grid (view/ component).

Here is the behavior to be expected:

  • The order of the columns displayed in the grid remains the one stored in each individual web browser's local storage. In other words, if the Administrator moves some pre-existing columns in the quote grid, this order is not applied to end users accessing that quote grid.
  • If the Administrator removes columns that previously were in the quote grid, then the order of columns displayed in the grid remains the one stored in each individual web browser's local storage, minus the removed columns.
  • If the Administrator adds new columns in the quote grid, then the order of columns displayed in the grid remains the one stored in each individual web browser's local storage, and the new columns are displayed at the end.
  • If the Administrator hides some pre-existing columns in the quote grid, this change is not

applied.

The Reset Default action in the Arrange menu still allows each user to individually apply the column arrangement made by the Administrator in the quote model.

Searching in the catalog

You can search the product catalog and directly add the product to the quote.

Executing actions

The grid comes with a large set of out-of-the-box actions to enable you to manipulate lines and refresh the content of the quote.

For instance, one way of adding lines in the Quote consists in copying or cutting existing ones and pasting them in the Quote spreadsheet. In the case of simple products, the action is pretty straightforward. In the case of Configurable Products, the root line can be copied/cut - thus copying

the whole Configurable Product and sub-lines - and pasted elsewhere in the same Quote. This action does not run again the associated Configuration Process when pasting the product in the Quote: the product hierarchy is just pasted as is.

Actions on Sub-Lines

The following Quote actions are available for Configurable Products root lines but deactivated for sub-lines:

  • Copy
  • Cut
  • Paste
  • Delete
  • Duplicate
  • Insert before/after
  • Move

Using those actions on root lines will in fact apply simultaneously on the root lines and all their sub-lines. For instance, it is not possible to copy, cut, or paste a sub-line of a Configurable product as a standalone independent line. It implies that copy/cut/paste a Configurable product in the Quote requires to copy/cut/paste its root line and that its sub-lines will automatically be copied/cut/pasted accordingly.

Sub-lines can nonetheless be selected (to edit them for instance or consult the product information in the left part of the Quote interface).

QUOTE LINES

Quote lines are the content of the quote and can be structured hierarchically. You are in charge of adding those lines and can use different means to do so: Excel Import, Add to Quote from the Smart CPQ Catalog.

LINE DENSITY

The density of lines in a grid can be modified by using the dedicated menu.

Changing the density will impact the height of each line, and also the quantity of information

provided on some cells.

The level of density can also be defaulted on the grid component on the model side.

Quote Line Details

If you need to display more information on a line, you can leverage additional components, either in the Left Part or in a Line Panel within the quote grid.

From the left bar, you can display additional line related information in a Line Details widget. Several sections can be defined and thanks to the quick links, you can easily be redirected to the right place.

The other way to display line related information is through the line panel. The line panel allows you to expand a line within the quote grid and then all data is displayed under the line. Several line

details widgets can be defined in a line panel and tabs allows you to navigate from one to another.

Long Treatment Report

The Long Treatment Report widget can embedded in the left part of the quote and is meant to display logs produced during the execution of a long process.

A typical example is the import of data that can take time to process the volume of data: instead of waiting for the end of the import execution, the Long Treatment Report section stores the corresponding logs for history, that you can download from the panel directly.

After the execution of a long process, a new entry is added in the widget, from where you can consult information on the execution of the long process and download a log file when available.

The setup of this widget is described in the Quote Designer documentation.

Error Browser

The Error Browser is very useful for error management in the quote because it is where you can consult both the technical and validation errors detected on the quote:

  • Technical errors are the errors detected within the quote that require the intervention from the CPQ Admin to be fixed, or that alert you on connected services not responding for instance.
  • Validation errors include functional messages made to guide you in the quoting workflow, for instance if a required field or cell has no value, if the criteria of a validation rule are not met are not met by a field or cell value or if a product is not completely configured.

You can filter down the displayed errors (technical vs. validation) in the browser itself. The error browser can be setup in the Quote Designer.

By default, the error browser displays all fields and one entry per line in error.

From there, you can filter by type of error:

Clicking on the arrow for a given quote line drills down to display the errors of that quote line only:

Clicking on a message in the browser redirects you on the impacted element in the quote grid when possible:

If the cell in error is hidden or not present in any given view on the same page, then no redirection happens.

If the cell in error is present in several views on the same page, then the redirection happens in each view.

Another way to interact with the Error Browser consists in clicking on the technical / validation error icon in the quote grid to open the browser and display the message of that quote line or cell:

Error count

Depending on the permission granted, you may not be allowed to access all the elements in error in the quote. For instance, if a field or grid column is hidden to you, the technical and validation errors corresponding to that field or cell will not be visible in the error browser. This explains why there may be a gap between the error count displayed by the error browser (all possible errors in the quote) and the actual number of errors visible to you.

Activity Tracking

The Activity Tracking widget can embedded in the left part of the quote. This is where you can consult the activity from all users working on the current quote.

Activities include the addition or removal of products, the update of values in cells or fields, etc. Each activity is represented by an entry in the Activity Tracking widget, organized chronologically and per user session.

For instance:

A filtering capability is available by clicking on the corresponding icon of the Activity Tracking

widget. It allows three different types of filters:

  • All changes: display all activities that happened on the quote
  • My changes: the list of activities is filtered to display only the ones you performed
  • Others' changes: the list of activities is filtered to display only the ones performed by users other than you.

Example of filtering:

The setup of this widget is described in the Quote Designer documentation.

Quote Line Comparator

You can select multiple quote lines and display a comparison of the products characteristics in the dedicated widget.

Catalog

As part of the quoting process designed in Performance Quoting, any Smart CPQ product catalog can be displayed at one or different steps of the process in a Catalog Widget

You can benefit from all the capabilities of the Smart CPQ catalog including (non-exhaustive list): quick search, full search, cross-sell recommendations, product comparator, collections...

IN FULL SIZE MODE

IN SHARED SCREEN MODE

As explained, the Quote module allows accessing and browsing catalogs from its user interface, benefiting from recommendations based on guided selling experiences, picking products and configuring offers and add them to the quote.

Chart

DYNAMIC PIE CHARTS

Overview

Pie charts can be visualized in the quoting process. The values displayed are based on the Quote content or the quote line and dynamically updated each time the related values change.

Available pie charts formats are: pies, donuts & semi-circle donuts.

Data Source

The data source on which the the chart relies on can be:

  • The whole quote
  • Any type of quote row specifically selected in the quote to be displayed in the chart widget

By default, if available, the quote level is the mode used.

Using a quote row as the data source requires to select the row in the quote spreadsheet, do a right-click and use the action "Add to Pie".

From there, changing the data source to another row requires to perform the exact same actions

described above. Changing the data source to the quote level requires to use the data source selector in the widget (see next chapter).

Pie Chart Widget

Pie charts are displayed in a dedicated widget made of:

  • a header bar including a label and an action to maximize or minimize the widget
  • a body used to display the chart
  • including value display on mouse over
  • optional legend
  • a bar including all actions that can be performed on the chart

The action bar contains the following elements:

  • Data source selector: allows switching between the rendering of the chart at the quote or quote row level. It may happen that only one option (quote vs. quote row) is available.
  • View: allows changing the type of data of the chart (values vs. percentage)

The refresh of the chart widget is automated and occurs whenever an element of the data source changes.

DYNAMIC GAUGE CHARTS

Overview

Gauge charts can be visualized in the quoting process. The values displayed are based on the Quote content or the quote line and dynamically updated each time the related values change.

Data Source

The data source on which the the chart relies on can be:

  • A field at the quote level (for example the quote score)
  • A column for when a selected row is displayed in chart widget

By default, if available, the quote level is the mode used.

Using a quote row as the data source requires to select the row in the quote spreadsheet, do a right-click and use the action "Add to Gauge".

From there, changing the data source to another row requires to perform the exact same actions described above. Changing the data source to the quote level requires to use the data source selector in the widget (see next chapter).

Gauge Chart Widget

Gauge charts are displayed in a dedicated widget made of:

  • a header bar including a label and an action to maximize or minimize the widget
  • a body used to display the chart
  • including label display on mouse over
  • optional legend
  • a bar including all actions that can be performed on the chart

The action bar contains the following elements:

  • Data source selector: allows switching between the rendering of the chart at the quote or quote row level. It may happen that only one option (quote vs. quote row) is available.

The refresh of the chart widget is automated and occurs whenever an element of the data source changes.

WATERFALL DIAGRAM

Overview

The waterfall chart illustrates the various costs & revenues in the chain of sale for a product, and helps identifying changes to improve profitability of the product.

The ”waterfall” effect is created by deductions from one price or margin bar to the next. For instance, if your company incorporates fees into your waterfall chart, the price bar that follows the fee bar is equal to the previous price bar minus the fees.

Data Source

The data source on which the waterfall diagram relies on can be:

  • The whole quote
  • Any type of quote row specifically selected in the quote to be displayed in the waterfall widget

By default, if available, the quote level is the default mode used.

Using a quote row as the data source requires to select the row in the quote spreadsheet, do a right-click and use the action "Add to Waterfall".

From there, changing the data source to another row requires to perform the exact same actions described above. Changing the data source to the quote level requires to use the data source selector in the waterfall widget (see next chapter).

Waterfall Widget

Waterfall diagrams are displayed in a dedicated widget made of:

  • a header bar including a label and an action to maximize or minimize the widget
  • a body used to display the chart
  • a bar including all actions that can be performed on the chart

The action bar contains the following elements:

  • Data source selector: allows switching between the rendering of the waterfall at the quote or quote row level. It may happen that only one option (quote vs. quote row) is available.
  • Y-Axis: allows changing the type of data for the Y-axis of the chart (amount vs. percentage)
  • View drop down list: gathers additional view options for the chart
  • Show Zero elements: allows displaying or hiding bars with a value equal to zero
  • Show Empty elements: allows displaying or hiding bars with no value
  • Show Chart / Show Grid: allows choosing the rendering of the waterfall, as a chart or as a grid. In the latter case, the bars of the chart are represented as columns of a table with both their amount and percentage values

The refresh of the waterfall widget is automated and occurs whenever an element of the data source changes.

Conditional Formatting

Conditional formatting can be applied to columns, cells, and fields.

The formatting is visible in the grid, the field panel, the header panel, as well as the left bar.

Conditional formatting rules can be defined in the quote model, and when they are valid, the formatting is applied.

On cells in the grid, the following formatting properties can be visible:

  • background color
  • font color
  • font style

On fields and on cells in the left panel, the following formatting properties can be visible:

  • font color
  • font style

The conditional formatting can only be applied on a limited list of datatype:

  • Big Decimal
  • Boolean (limited to true/false, not applicable to checkbox renderer)
  • Business
  • Currency (based on data stored - not the display currency)
  • Date Time
  • Integer
  • Local Date
  • Long
  • Monetary
  • Percentage
  • String
  • Unit of Measure

Selectors & Renderers

GENERALITIES

Selectors

Selectors are used by users to update values.

They can be used on fields and cells in grids or in left bar components. They can be of many kinds, such as text field, dropdown, checkbox ...

Please find below a list of available selectors along with screenshots for each.

Selectors Choice

Performance quoting UI is able to identify the best selector that should be rendered depending on the type of value, number of values available for selection...etc.

Selectors can be defined at three different levels:

  1. At the quote column level.
  2. For each column at the Line Template level.
  3. By default by the system.

For a given selector, the quote grid uses the one defined at the column level, or at the Line Template level if the previous one is not defined, or the one by default if none are defined at previous levels.

In the case of a mass update scenario, the selector used are primarily the one defined at the column level, or the one by default if none is defined at the previous level.

It is recommended not to specify a selector in the quote model, unless the default rendering logic needs to be overridden.

You can still interact with the content of the widget to visualize the available benchmarks, but no value can be saved from this interaction and no action are available. Also note that this visualization is also available when the quote is frozen. When entering in edition on the line via a double-click, the widget is automatically opened so you can use it directly. You can then drag the cursor on the scale to adjust the value manually, or click on a given benchmark to set it, or even enter a value manually in the cell itself. The Apply and Reset actions respectively save your inputs or come back to the previously saved value. These interactions are not available if the quote is frozen as the line cannot be edited. It may happen that the benchmark values are very close. In that scenario, you can decide to adjust the minimum and maximum values driving the guidance scale to ensure optimal display. Alternatively, if minimum and maximum values cannot be adjusted for your specific use case, the widget automatically makes sure that benchmarks are always displayed in a readable way:
