Once you create a repeat table and insert it into a template, you can apply either ascending or descending sorting to a single column at a time.

To Apply Sorting to a Single Column of a Repeat Table

  1. Open a Template with a repeat table inserted. 
  2. Under the Fields tab, click the Setting (gear) icon.
  3. Click the Edit (pencil) icon beside Sorting. 
  4. Under column, select the single column you want to sort.
  5. Under Order, select the order you want the column to sort by. The options are Ascending and Descending.  

    Click the Delete (trash) icon to clear your selections. If you want to delete sorting from your table entirely, you must click Cancel and then click the Delete (trash) icon beside Sorting. 

  6. Click Apply.

Once you apply the sorting order, the following behaviors occur:

  • If you selected Ascending as your order option, then your column will sort in ascending order. 
  • If you selected Descending as your order option, then your column will sort in descending order.
