You can add custom permissions at the permission set level and assign the permission set to a specific user. For a list of custom permissions available for X-Author for Contracts Advanced, see Custom Permissions

  • If your Salesforce Org uses both Admin entries and permissions sets, Admin entries take priority over permissions sets.
  • If your Salesforce Org has "Enable Custom Permission" turned on from the Conga CLM package and this is enabled for a specific profile, and if your organization also has custom permissions created and assigned to the same user, then the expected result is that all actions should be enabled for that specific user.

Prerequisites

View Setup and Configuration Permissions must be enabled in Salesforce for your user first.

Create a New Custom Permission

  1. In Salesforce, click Setup.
  2. In Quick Search, enter Custom Permissions and click Custom Permissions under App Setup.
  3. Click New.
  4. Enter the Label and Name of your Custom Permission and click Save.
