When the Auto Insert Header Footer Data option is enabled/checked as true, the headers in your agreement documents will display the agreement number, and the footers will display the date (or last modified date) timestamp. The automatic header and footer will insert into your document during the following actions once enabled:

  • When you create an offline agreement
  • When you import an offline agreement
  • When you regenerate an offline agreement

If this option is disabled/checked as false, then no automatic header or footer information will insert into your document during any of the above actions. 

To enable the Auto Insert Header Footer Data option

  1. In Salesforce, navigate to the Comply System Properties custom setting. 
  2. Under Action, click Edit.
  3. Click the Auto Insert Header Footer Data checkbox.
  4. Click Save.
