You can use web clauses you created in Conga CLM with X-Author for Contracts Advanced.

Prerequisites

First, you must create a web clause in Conga CLM. See Using the Clause Library for more information. 

Web clauses can only be created and edited in Conga CLM. 

Overview

You can perform the following actions with web clauses in X-Author for Contracts Advanced:

  • Insert a web clause from the Clause Library

  • Insert a web clause and maintain formatting 


    X-Author for Contracts Advanced supports the following formatting:

    • Heading 1,2, and 3

    • Font style

    • Font size

    • Text color

    • Bold

    • Italics
    • Underline 
    • Alignment Left, Right, and Center

    • Numbered list

    • Bullet list

    • Undo actions

  • Mark web clauses as Smart or Read Only 
  • Add conditions to web clauses. The web clause will only be inserted if all requirements for the condition are met. 
  • After you check-in a contract document, you can see the web clause status in Conga CLM under Clauses > Source Action

Limitations

  • You cannot check-out web clauses in X-Author for Contracts Advanced
  • You cannot create or edit web clauses in X-Author for Contracts Advanced
