The Conga Copilot feature uses Generative AI to help search for information and answer questions about the documents you've imported into X-Author for Contracts Advanced through Conga Contract Intelligence. 

The Generative AI feature must be enabled in CCI Admin Dashboard and you must run Review Import Results before accessing Conga Copilot. 

Enabling Conga Copilot

  1. In Conga Platform, click Explore All in the left menu.
  2. Click Admin Console.
  3. Click Org Management.
  4. Click CCI Admin Dashboard.
  5. Click App Configuration > General. 
  6. Toggle the Use Generation AI option to On and select the generative AI option from the dropdown menu (for example, gpt-4). You must also specify your organization details in the mandatory field. 
  7. Click Save.

Asking Questions with Conga Copilot

  1. Within X-Author for Contracts Advanced, click on the Work tab.
  2. Click the More icon () on the left side of the navigation menu and select Review Import Results. 
  3. Click Insights in the navigation menu. 
  4. Click the More icon () beside one of the results and select View Risk Details. 
  5. Under Need Help? click Conga Copilot. 

  6. Enter your question in the search box on the bottom. For example, "What is the Agreement Name?" and "What is the limitation of liability cap?" 

    The questions are retained until the document is checked-in again. Afterwards, they are deleted. 

  7. You can also click the More icon () on the left side of the navigation menu and select Conga Copilot to access this feature.

Limitations

Fields extracted from Conga Contracts Intelligence are not marked in X-Author for Contracts Advanced after extraction if there is an existing content control (a field that is already marked) in the exact same/partial content space.
