The Paste action adds rows and pastes data from the clipboard into those rows.

To create a Paste action

  1. Click on the arrow beneath the Actions button and select Paste
  2. In the Name field, enter a descriptive name for the Paste action.
  3. From the Save Map picklist, select the Save Map for your Paste action.
  4. From the List Object picklist, select the appropriate object (of List type).
  5. Do any one of the following:
    1. To add the rows at the top of the current data selection, select Top from Add row location.
    2. To add the rows at the bottom, select Bottom from Add row location.
  6. Do any one of the following
    1. If you want to paste all the rows and data, select Paste All.
    2. If you want to paste the values only, select Paste Values Only.
  7. Click Save.
