Managing Data Sync
The Data Sync feature synchronizes data from your existing Salesforce system to the Conga Advantage Platform, ensuring that your Salesforce information is up to date and accessible from the Conga Advantage Platform.
Data sync supports:
- One-time sync from Salesforce to Conga Advantage Platform (forward sync)
- Delta data sync from Salesforce to Conga Advantage Platform (forward sync)
- Real-time data sync from Conga Advantage Platform to Salesforce (reverse sync)
Note:
To include system audit fields (CreatedDate, CreatedBy, UpdatedDate, and UpdatedBy) in the reverse data sync from Conga Advantage Platform to Salesforce, you must:
- Map the Conga Advantage Platform fields to the corresponding Salesforce fields. For more information, see Creating and Managing Object Mappings.
- Enable the Create Audit Fields permission for standard profiles in Salesforce. For more information, see Enable the permission 'Create Audit Fields' for standard profiles.
