The following features are new to Conga Approvals in this release.
Custom Approval Request Queue
Administrators can configure approval rules in a custom queue. Approval requests are assigned to the queue and appear in the My Approval and the Preview and Submit pages. Approvers in the queue are notified and can reassign the request to themselves. Initial API implementation. UI implementation to follow.
An administrator can configure an assignee to be selected at runtime by inspecting any object in the Conga Platform. When the administrator selects a custom user assignee type, the UI requests definitions for Object and Assignee fields, and selection criteria (with up to six conditions) for each record. See Standard-Step Options.
An administrator can configure a Related User assignee to be selected at runtime by configuring a field in the approval context. Out-of-the box and custom fields are supported. See Standard-Step Options.
No Resubmitting Approvals
Users cannot resubmit approvals that have already been submitted. Resubmission is permitted for recalled, canceled, or completed (approved or rejected) requests. See note at Submitting an Approval Request.
Custom Users on Multiple Rule Assignees
Users can save multiple assignees with the Custom user type. See Standard-Step Options.
Custom User Assignee
Logic has been added to Approvals and features added to its user interface to enable the custom user assignee type. See Standard-Step Options.
Return to Page after Submit or Cancel
After submitting or canceling an approval from Submit and Preview, the user is returned to the contract, quote, cart, or other page they came from (including custom pages).
