Clauses used in generating contracts are stored in the Clause object and grouped by Clause Type. In a later step you will add them to a Clause Bundle, which makes them available for end-users to add to a specific Contract record.

To create Clauses"

  1. Navigate to the Clauses tab.
  2. Click New.
  3. In Clause Name box, type a name. For example: Payment Terms.
  4. Select the Clause Type from the lookup field.
  5. Enter the Clause Text in the text field.
  6. Click Save.

Repeat the steps above for all of your Clauses.
