During the redlining process, the Submit for Approval button appears after a clause is redlined or altered. To make this button appear and submit an Approval Request for your assigned approvers to review in Conga Contracts for Salesforce, take the following steps:
In the Conga Contracts for Salesforce application, go to Clause Agreements in the top navigation menu and select your Contract or Legal Agreement.
Click on the Related tab.
Under the Conga Document Generation component, Click Generate Contract to create a contract document under Files.
Click View Redlines.
Make the desired changes to your Clauses using Open in Word, or through an External Negotiation.
The Submit for Approval button now appears. Click Submit for Approval.
After you submit for approval, you receive the following confirmation message: An approval process is Active. Edits have been restricted. If you want to make further edits and cancel the pending Approval request, click Recall Approval Request.
While in Approval Mode, the record is locked and open in Word, and the Negotiate and True-Up buttons are removed until action is taken (Approve or Reject) on all clauses in the submitted request.
