Conga Approvals enables you to trigger an approval request for any object and send an email notification to concerned stakeholders. Using Approvals, you can set an approval request on an object header, line item, or both. After an approval request is triggered, an approver can approve or reject a request via email.
To access Approvals
Click theApp Launcher icon () and select Approvals from Shared Apps. You can view the following tabs.
Approval System Properties: Allows administrators to configure the Approvals user interface or Approvals workflows. For more information, see Configuring the Approvals User Interface.
Approval Custom Configs: You can use custom approval settings to define specific configurations for any object, including custom objects, in Conga Platform. The object for Custom User feature enables selecting standard or custom object names to define custom assignee expressions. This ensures that approval workflows can be customized for each object, allowing for more precise and automated user assignments based on the object’s specific approval requirements. Approval Flows describe how to build the sequence of steps that compose an approval flow. From this screen, you can find and select approval flows for creating, reviewing, or editing approval flows For more information, see Approval Flows.
Approval Rules describe how to define approval rules. Approval rules are used to associate business objects and entry criteria to determine which assignees are required during the approval workflow.Administrators can create rules for use in child processes. For more information, seeApproval Rules.
