Grouping Repeating Data with Additional Information in Word using TablegroupStart and TablegroupEnd
TableGroupStart adds the benefit of displaying multiple field values within the heading. In addition to TableGroup, you can also group on a value in a table by including a pair of special merge fields, {{TableGroupStart:DatasetName:FieldName}} and {{TableGroupEnd:DatasetName:FieldName}}.
TableGroupStart is very similar to TableGroup in that it lets you group on a field in your detail data; however, TableGroupStart adds the benefit of displaying multiple field values within the heading.
Do not mix and match the Tablegroupstart and End method with the Tablegroup method. You must pick one method for your template. Tablegroup does not work in Mail Merge.
DatasetName corresponds to the name of the dataset from the Template Builder window.
FieldName corresponds to a field name displayed on the Template Builder window and is the field on which you want to group the data.
Notes
These fields must exist in a single table cell.
The FieldName in the {{TableGroupStart}} and {{TableGroupEnd}} fields must not contain hyphens (-) or colons (:). If your FieldName does contain these, use the SCHP parameter.
The field names for {{TableStart}} and {{TableEnd}} cannot be abbreviated and both must be placed within the same row of the detail table.
