Enhancements
The following enhancements were added in this release:
Serial Approvers Enhancements
Several enhancements were made to the Contracts for Salesforce approvals experience:
- You can now add multiple approvers to a Clause Configuration in the Clause Library. For more information, see Adding Approvers and Adding or Editing a Clause Level Approval Step.
- The Approvals user interface was updated to accommodate multiple approvers. In the Approvals user interface, all Managed Clauses that require approval are visible in the Tree List. Each Managed Clause is nested underneath the Clause Approver.
- The Clause Approvals flow was updated to accommodate multiple approvers. When the Submit for Approval button is clicked in View Redlines, the first approver receives an email notifying them a Managed Clause requires their approval. If the clause change is accepted, approval is routed to the next approver and they are notified via email. Approvers can not approve a clause change out of order.
- When there are multiple approvers, if a clause change is rejected by any approver, then the change is rejected completely. Any subsequent approvers are not able to approve the change.
- When an approver accepts or rejects a change, their selection is permanent and the Approvals user interface is updated to no longer display the approve or reject buttons.
Managed Clauses Confirmation Messaging Update
When you modify Managed Clauses on a Salesforce record using the Contracts for Salesforce Select Managed Clauses user interface and click save, the confirmation message confirming success is now the following: "Managed Clauses Successfully Updated".
Select Managed Clauses Enhancement
The Select Managed Clauses user interface now displays Sub Clauses and their sort order when adding Managed Clauses to an Agreement.
