In these release notes, you can find packages, requirements, features, enhancements, fixed issues, and known issues for the Conga Partner Commerce on Conga Platform February '24 release. For documentation updates, see What's New in Conga Partner Commerce.

This documentation may describe optional features for which you have not purchased a license; therefore, your solution or implementation may differ from what is described here. Contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or Account Executive (AE) to discuss your specific features and licensing.

New Features

The following features are new to Conga Partner Commerce on Conga Platform in this release.

Add Multiple Products to the Cart

You can select multiple products from the catalog page and add them to the cart with a single click. For this, a new Add to Cart option is introduced to the Product Drawer > Selection action.

Delete Multiple Products from the Cart

You can select multiple products from the cart details page and remove them all from the cart with a single click. For this, a new Delete from Cart option is introduced to the Product Drawer > Selection action.

Clone a Cart

You can create a new cart by cloning the existing cart from the cart list and the cart details pages.

Create Quote Flow

You can now create a quote first, then add line items (products) to the quote and complete the quote cycle. For this, a New Quote button is introduced on the My Quotes (quote listing) page.

Configure Fields on the Cart Details Page

You can select fields of your choice to be displayed on the cart details page. For this, an Edit Layout action button is introduced on the Cart Details page that enables you to configure fields on the Cart Details page in real time. You can also rearrange the field sequence and save the view for later use.

Generate an Order Document

You can generate an order document before confirming the order. For this, a Generate Order button is introduced on the Order Details page.

Generate a Quote Document

You can generate a quote document so that you can email the proposal document to the customer for their review and acceptance. For this, a Generate Quote button is introduced on the Quote Details page.

Summary Charts for Quotes and Orders

You can now use the summary charts for all of the quotes and orders that are placed. You can also customize the chart by applying the advanced filters. Quotes by Status (bar chart), Quotes by Due Date (pie chart), Orders by Status (bar chart), and Order Amount by Status (pie chart) charts are available with out-of-the-box template.

Apply Promotions

You can use promotions to boost the sale of products in your inventory. Promotions add value to products by offering discounts and incentives for buying. Promotions bring value to customers while also increasing revenue for your company.

Renew Asset

You can now renew the asset product from the Product Catalog page.

Mobile Device Compatibility

The Partner Commerce application is now compatible with mobile devices to enhance accessibility and convenience for users for seamless and responsive interaction. Mobile compatibility allows customers to access the application on the go, making it more flexible and user-friendly. It opens up new opportunities for businesses to reach a broader audience and cater to the growing number of users who prefer mobile devices for online activities.

Chrome Browser Mobile View is used to test and certify the following mobile devices and screen resolutions:

Digital Commerce SDK and reference templates use responsive utility classes from the Bootstrap library in order to build responsive pages that support different screen resolutions, as mentioned in the table below. To learn more about Bootstrap's responsive utility classes, click here

Enhancements

The following section describes the existing features that are changed (or are no longer supported) in this release.

Delete Multiple Carts

You can now delete multiple carts from the cart list page. For more information, see Managing the Cart.

Search Line Items on the Cart Details Page

You can search for line items on the cart details page. For this, a Search bar is added on the Cart Details page.

Retry Pricing

If the price process fails while adding a product to the cart, the system will try pricing again for the number of times you specified when configuring the template. If the pricing process still fails, you can see an error message with the following three options:

  • Retry: The system will retry the pricing for the number of times you specify while configuring the template.
  • Clone: The system will clone the cart, mark the new cart as active, and then run the price when any action is taken on the new active cart.
  • Abandon: The current cart will be deactivated and a new cart will be created by the system.

Data Sync

The Data Sync feature helps you synchronize data from your existing external system (for example, Salesforce) to the Conga Platform and vice versa. The following are the supported features in data sync:

  • One-time sync from an external system (for example, Salesforce) to the Conga Platform

  • Delta data sync from an external system (for example, Salesforce) to the Conga Platform

  • Real-time sync data from Conga Platform to external system (for example, Salesforce)

Product Configuration

You can prevent users from adding products without first configuring them. For this, You must set the IsCustomizable flag to true for the complex product you want the user to configure before adding it to the cart.
