Adding Master Object Merge Fields
In many organizations, email templates are used to streamline communication and ensure consistency. Adding master object merge fields to these templates allows for dynamic content insertion, making emails more personalized and relevant to the recipient. This task is particularly useful for users who need to include specific data from master objects in their email communications.
- Click the template name from the email templates list, or click the More (
) icon for the respective email template from the list and select Edit.
- Click Merge Field Lookup.
- Go to the Master Objects tab.
- Click the dropdown next to any object listed to see a list of the available fields.
- Use the Search bar to find a specific object.
- Click the Copy (
) icon to copy the field and paste it into the email template body.
- Click Save.
