Generating a Quote Document

  • Conga CPQ is installed on your Salesforce org (October '26 release or later).
  • Your administrator has enabled Conga Quote Agent for your user profile.
  • There is a quote with line items.
  • The administrator has configured at least one document template.
  • You have Salesforce permissions to generate documents.
Ask Conga Quote Agent to generate a quote document by selecting a template and output format through conversational prompts.
  1. Ask Conga Quote Agent to generate a document for the quote.
    • "Generate a document for this quote."
    • "Create a PDF proposal for quote Q-456."
  2. If multiple templates or output formats are available, select the desired option when Conga Quote Agent prompts you.
Conga Quote Agent presents available templates (e.g., Standard Proposal, Executive Summary) and output formats (e.g., PDF, DOCX). Provide your selection in your reply.
  3. Wait for Conga Quote Agent to generate the document.
Conga Quote Agent generates the document and provides access to the output file. The document is attached to the quote record in Salesforce.
