Conga Quote Agent

Previewing Approvals, Submitting, and Finalizing

  • Conga CPQ is installed on your Salesforce org (October '26 release or later).
  • Your administrator has enabled Conga Quote Agent for your user profile.
  • A quote with line items is in the cart and ready for finalization.
  • You have Salesforce permissions to submit quotes for approval.
Ask Conga Quote Agent if approvals are required, to submit a quote for approval, or to finalize the cart.
  1. Ask Conga Quote Agent to preview required approvals.
    • "Do I need any approvals for this quote?"
    • "What approvals are required?"
    Conga Quote Agent lists the approval rules triggered, the approvers, and the approval chain.
  2. Review the approval requirements Conga Quote Agent returns.
  3. Submit the quote for approval or finalize it based on the approval preview.
    OptionDescription
    Approval is requiredEnter "Submit this quote for approval." to enter the quote into the approval workflow.
    No approval is requiredEnter "Finalize the cart." to finalize the cart immediately.
    If approval is required, the quote is submitted to the approval workflow and the status changes accordingly. If no approval is required, the cart is finalized and the quote is locked for further edits.
