Enhancements
The following enhancements are new to CLM in this release.
Filter View Names in the Manage Fulfillment Renamed
The updates filter view labels to The Overdue Obligations and Upcoming Obligations filter views in the Manage Fulfillment page in the modern UI are renamed to Overdue Fulfillments and Upcoming Fulfillments to align with the UI of the Obligations module. The Fulfillment tab displays the message “No fulfillment records to display. Fulfillment records will be generated once the contract is activated” in the empty state, with the table hidden until activation.
Implicit Contract Access for Obligation Assignees and Reviewers
Internal users assigned as Assignees or Reviewers to an Obligation automatically receive implicit read access to the associated contract, enabling them to fulfill their assigned obligations without access issues. A confirmation popup appears on the Details tab of the Fulfilment section in both the Contract and Manage Fulfilment pages when access is granted. This feature applies to both individual users and user groups, and excludes external parties such as supplier or account contacts.
Agreement Activation with Documents Having Blank Type
Agreements can now be activated even when an attached document has a blank or null Type field, which was previously blocked. For more information, see Activating a Contract.
Contract Name Auto-Population and UI Validation Update
Customers can configure a default value for Contract Name when set, the field is auto populated during agreement creation and can optionally be hidden from the UI, without triggering any validation errors or exceptions. For more information, see Creating a Contract.
Dynamic Saved Views with Relative Date and Logged-In User Filters
Saved views in the new UI support runtime dynamic filters, allowing users to filter records by the current date (using Is Relative To Today) and the logged-in user for owner fields*.* They offer flexible date options with readable filter labels, support user or user group selection, apply only to new UI grids, and follow user timezone and locale settings. For more information, see Filter Record.
Suppliers Page: Seeded "All Suppliers" and "My Suppliers" Tabs
The Suppliers page includes two fixed seeded tabs—All Suppliers (default) and My Suppliers—that let managers view all suppliers or only those they own/manage. These tabs cannot be renamed or removed and support list/grid views with consistent sorting, filtering, and pagination. Both My Suppliers and All Suppliers tab show an empty message if no records exist. For more information, see Supplier Management.
My Conversations View
The My Conversations view enables users to access and manage all conversations they have initiated, participated in, or been mentioned in, regardless of context. The view displays a list of conversations. The view supports searching by subject and entity, sorting by Conversation Thread object fields, and pagination. Only conversations linked to entities where the user is involved are displayed. For more information, see Conversations.
Improved Fulfilment Management in Modern UI
The Manage Fulfilments page in the modern user interface is enhanced to provide a more streamlined experience for viewing and managing fulfilment details and activity history. Users can perform fulfilment-specific actions, such as Submit, Waive, Accept, Reject, and Request Information, based on fulfilment status and assigned permissions. The enhanced page also allows the users to edit fulfilment details and review a comprehensive, read-only activity log that includes comments, status changes, users, dates, and downloadable attachments. For more information, see Obligation Fulfillment in Modern UI.
