Use Case: Sending an Agreement for Review Using Single-Step Review

This use case explains how a Contract Manager sends an agreement for review using the Enable Single-Step Review feature. When enabled, the system skips the document-selection step, opens the redesigned Send for Review page directly, and automatically selects eligible agreement documents, allowing users to initiate reviews more efficiently. Supported review types include Parallel, Simple, Microsoft 365, and Google Docs reviews.

  • An agreement record exists in Salesforce.

  • The agreement contains one or more agreement documents.

  • The user has permission to send agreements for review.

  • Enable Single-Step Review is enabled.

  • The review type is Parallel, Simple, Microsoft 365, or Google Docs Review.

Standard Statement

Organizations frequently route agreements for review before approval and execution. Single-Step Review streamlines the process by opening the redesigned Send for Review page directly with eligible agreement documents preselected, reducing user effort and improving efficiency.
