Checking Templates In
This section describes updating and checking in the template. You can open (check out) any type of template from the repository and make changes to static text and other content in the document. When you are finished, you can check the template in and modify properties as needed (for example, changing which contract types it is associated with).
Prerequisite
You must have a template checked out or created to check a template in.
To update and check a template in
The
add-on pane details the opened template, its name, current version, local
information, currency information, etc. Click the Lock () icon to prevent other users from editing this
template.
An updated template record is created and stored in Google Drive, and your template is checked into Conga CLM.
A template version is created and you can find a link to the Google Docs template under CLM > Templates > Open Template > Versions > Related tab > Notes & Attachments. Click the Google Doc file link to open it.
The document opens in read-only mode. To edit it further, you must check it out using the Conga for Google Docs add-on.
