A user with the Creation Template Admin permission can upload their company's standard contract as a creation template so that it is available as a selection in the Creation Wizard whenever a user runs the wizard from a Contract Profile. Running the wizard generates the contract and stores the document in the Documents screen in the Profile.

A Creation Template Admin can perform the following tasks associated with creation templates:

• Locate a Creation Template
• Add a Creation Template, which includes the following steps:
  • Format a MS Word Document as a template
  • Map fields in a Creation Template
  • Map MS Word merge fields to additional form fields
  • Map MS Word merge fields to clauses
  • Add questions for a Creation Template
  • Add restrictions for a Creation Template
  • Activate and deactivate a Creation Template
• Edit a Creation Template, which includes the following tasks:
  • Upload a revision to a template document
  • Compare document revisions
  • Delete a Creation Template
