Additional Names Overview
The Additional Names feature is useful in recording other names under which a company, organization, limited partnership, institution, or government agency conducts business. For example, a company that has been acquired by another company through merger or acquisition may still be able to legally enter into a contractual agreement under its original name. The feature is also useful in recording other names by which is company is currently known or was formerly known. For example, Contract Management Solutions Inc. is also known as CMSI, and Conga Contracts was formerly known as Conga Contracts Inc.
