New Features and Enhancements

The following features are new to CPQ in this release.

Data Persistence Optimizations for Large Carts

The optimised data persistence enables you to work more efficiently with large carts as the Price Break Ups and Usage Tiers, and the large cart threshold is now based on the number of cart lines, with a default value of 1,000. This allows you to handle larger carts more reliably and improves data management when you work with extensive line items.

Sequence-Based Application of Price Programs and Promotions

You can apply Price Programs and Promotions to quote line items in the defined sequence using the Pricing API. The system applies all Price Programs first, followed by Promotions, to ensure consistent pricing results, especially when waterfall pricing is enabled.

For more information, see Conga Developer Portal.

Enhancements to Import API and Export API

The Import API and Export API now support advanced scenarios, including consistent pricing calculation, charge line creation, and line-level adjustments for imported line items, matching the behavior of UI-added lines. The Export API exports all cart lines and attributes, including adjustment data and line statuses, regardless of cart or line status, while enforcing schema and formatting rules for both APIs. Import API payloads must follow strict schema validation, exclude certain fields, and use flattened dot notation for attributes; only line addition is supported.

For more information, see Cart APIs in Conga Developer portal.

Admin API - Set Line Item Field After Including Product via Rules

You can use the “ConstraintRuleActionExpression” from the Constraint Rule Actions APIs to define a rule that sets a line item field after a product is automatically included via constraint rules. The rule supports both primary line items and options, allows updating one eligible field per action, and excludes lookup, formula, system, identifier, and non-overwritable pricing or category fields.

For more information, see Conga Developer Portal.

Rebate API: Dynamic Rebate Scope and Benefit Definition Using Adhoc Groups

You can now define rebate scope and benefit recipients using Adhoc Groups alongside Product, Product Family, and Product Group in the Rebate API. The API applies AND logic across all parameters, including runtime-created Adhoc Groups, to precisely target eligible items. Bundle and option rebate calculations distinguish between group-level and specific product eligibility, so rebates apply only to bundle lines when both bundle and options belong to the same group, and option lines receive rebates only when explicitly eligible.

For more information, see Rebates APIs in the Conga Developer Portal.

Enahancement to Search API: Ability to Retrive the Service Products

The existing /search API now supports the retrieval of Service Products by passing the parameter search-type=Service, enabling administrators to identify eligible service-type products for association during product configuration. All current filters, facets, and pagination options remain unchanged for this API endpoint.

For more information, see Catalog APIs in Conga Developer Portal.

Price Program Application on Quote Line Items

You can automatically apply price programs to quote line items using the same logic as promotions, without promo codes or priority setup. Price program adjustments appear as line item modifications, support multiple programs per item, and work with both standard and bundle waterfall pricing. Administrators can enable or disable this behavior via settings, affecting new calculations and allowing bulk repricing for existing quotes.

Support for Custom View on Installed Products Page

You can now customize the Installed Products page by creating and saving views with your preferred columns, including support for custom fields. Grouping options are determined by the fields selected under Global Settings > Assets > Group By Fields. All customised views are private by default. Administrators can make them public through Flow Settings > Asset Page > Asset Views.

For more information see Manage Group by View for Installed Products Page.

Quote-to-Contract: Synchronous and Asynchronous Contract Creation

You can control whether contract lines are created synchronously or asynchronously when you convert a quote to a contract. You can set the QuoteToContractThreshold feature setting to define the quote size at which contract lines are created asynchronously. When you create the contract, you receive the contract header in the response, and if the lines are created asynchronously, you also receive job details so you can monitor the progress.

To set the QuoteToContractThreshold field in quote settings, you must invoke Update a configuration API.

For more information on creating contract from a quote, see Quote APIs in Conga Developer Portal.

Re-order Cart Lines Within and Across Groups Using Runtime API

You can now reorder cart lines within a group or move them across groups using the updated Conga CPQ Runtime API. When you pass a group ID and an ordered list of primary line IDs, and the API resequences the lines, saves references, and returns the updated cart lines with their groups and line numbers for accurate UI display.

Support of Service and Equipment Scope Exclusion in Constraint Rules

You can configure Exclusion rules to hide or disable options in a Service product when both service and equipment products are present within the Product Field scope. The rule supports only the “Match In Option” action and allows both Hide and Disable outcomes for applicable options.

Support for Setting Line Item Fields via Rules

You can define constraint rules to set a line item field, such as quantity, after a product is automatically included using the rule engine. The feature supports one Action Expression per rule, applies to both primary lines and options, and restricts updates to specific system and pricing fields.

Contract Price List Creation from Price Agreement Intent

Enable creation of a Contract Price List when the Quote header Intent is set to Price Agreement or Contract in the Conga Platform. The system generates a Contract Price List with type Contract, assigns the Quote ID as the Contract number, and calculates the Contract Price based on the Net Price per unit after acceptance. Activate the EnableAddSupportForContractPL feature flag in feature settings to use this functionality.

For more information, see Automated Contract Price List Generation.

Option Only Ramp: Correct Asset Line Status on Cancellation with ROR=True

In Option Only Ramp scenarios, asset lines that are non-renewed or cancelled during a ramp with ROR=True now update their status correctly and are no longer marked as Active. This change prevents issues during subsequent Renew or Change operations and maintains accurate asset status.

Ability to Control Export and Import Cart Lines Action

You can now control the Export & Import action for cart lines in the cart UI using the new ExportImportCartLines display action setting. This action appears in the left action area and is available by default for new and upgraded environments. You can selectively export and import cart lines to Excel based on your role and the runtime flows that apply to your transaction.

For more information, see Configuring Cart Page Settings.

ManageGroups Action in Cart

The ManageGroups action is now available in the Cart page, allowing users to create and manage ad-hoc groups for cart line items. This feature enables grouping of one or more lines under different groups directly from the cart, accessible via the left action area as a task.

For more information, see Configuring Action Settings.

Admin UI: Dynamic Rebate Scope and Benefit Definition Using Adhoc Groups

You can configure the Admin UI to use Adhoc Groups as rebate scope and benefit parameters along with Product, Product Family, and Product Group. You must add the Adhoc Group fields through Config System Properties, as they are not available out of the box. After configuration, you can select Adhoc Groups from a multi-picklist with an All option and apply AND logic in cart-based rebate flows only. This feature does not support multi-condition rebates or non-cart-based flows.

For more information, see Defining Scope for a Rebate and Defining Benefits for a Rebate.

Rebate Program Multi-Condition Support in Admin UI

You can create rebate programs with multiple independent condition groups using AND/OR logic across product hierarchies and line item fields. The Admin UI preserves the sequence of condition groups and supports the IncentiveConditionExpression schema for advanced rebate logic. This feature is available for the Buy X Get Y application method and is controlled by a feature flag.

For more information, see Defining Scope for a Rebate.

Support of Rebate Calculation on Bundle and Option Waterfall

The rebate calculation waterfall adds a new “Net After Rebate” price point after Net Price, applying rebate adjustments in the order defined in the rebate program. Option-level rebates roll up to the parent bundle, and parent line rebates aggregate to cart totals, ensuring consistent behavior across both bundle and traditional waterfall pricing.

Enhancement in Send for Signature

The Send for Signature feature now includes an option to upload documents. You can upload up to five files with a combined size of 20 MB and for each document, you can select its file type.On the Review and Send page, a new checkbox has been added to update the quote stage to Presented. After submission, you are redirected to the Quote Details page, where signed documents are automatically added to the quote’s Related Documents list. The Sign Transactions related list displays details such as transaction name, document status, modified date, and e-sign provider information.

For more information, see Sending Documents for eSignature.

Associate Pre-Defined Rebate Program to Quote

You can associate a pre-defined or cloned rebate program directly to a quote from the quote page, without creating a cart. The new association option provides access to available rebate programs and maintains the same behavior as cart-based rebate association.

For more information, see Rebates in Viewing Quote Details.

Sort cart line items by any available field

You can sort cart line items by any line item field that is available in your current Cart View. You choose whether to sort in ascending or descending order, and you can clear the applied sorting at any time. Sorting applies to primary lines only and works in both grouped and filtered cart views, while still preserving the order of bundle options.

For more information, see Working with the cart page.

Apply Adjustments at Ad-hoc Group Level via Cart API

You can apply markup or discount adjustments at the ad-hoc group level in the cart using the PUT /api/cart/v1/carts/{cartId}/summarygroups API endpoint. You can set both fixed amount and percentage-based adjustments, and the API automatically recalculates the group and cart totals. The adjustment history is preserved so you can track and maintain accurate pricing updates over time.

For more information, see Cart APIs in Conga Developer Portal.

Cart Group Sub-total Calculation API

You can now use the CPQ Runtime API to retrieve sub-total calculations for each group in the cart. You get real-time updates to group sub-totals, including net price and group-level adjustments, as you change the contents of each group. You can also retrieve sub-totals in bulk for all groups in the cart. The API correctly handles the AdHoc Group field when you clone a cart or mark line items as favorites. This feature enables sales representatives to review and adjust cart groups with accurate pricing breakdowns.

For more information, see Cart APIs in Conga Developer Portal.

Fixed Issues

The following issues are fixed in this release. If any actions are required, they will be listed in this table.

Case Number Conga Internal ID Description
- CPQ-104046

The Approval page incorrectly displays “No approvals are required at this time” after refreshing, despite showing the correct approval requests initially when accessed via the Approve Cart option from the Proposal record.

00953980 CPQ-103238

On the Option Selection page at 100% resolution, the screen may flicker and scrolling may fail when adding the fourth option to a bundle.

- CPQ-102938

Quote is saved when Expected Start Date is greater than Expected End Date, which is an incorrect behaviour.

Known Issues

The following unresolved issues are known to Conga at the time of this release.

Conga Internal ID Description
CPQ-105047

When reopening a saved cart, the Cart hides the scroll bar, which limits navigation.

CPQ-104922

When the Attribute Value Matrix scope is set to Product Group, the system does not evaluate the matrix, so attribute values do not default on the Configuration page.

CPQ-104049

Opening a cart with a large number of line items (e.g., 4,000+) results in a blank screen or browser crash in Chrome.

CPQ-97591

The product name header on the configuration page may stretch too far to the right at 80%, 90%, or 100% zoom, hiding the Summary section. This UI glitch appears while scrolling.

CPQ-95448

The system displays AssetLineItemAttributes on the Installed Products page only after you click the expander icon for each asset, instead of showing them by default.

CPQ-92545

The Auto-Inclusion constraint rule adds the product back to the cart even after it is deleted and a mass update is performed. This occurs regardless of the user’s preference to exclude the product.
