Enhancements
The following enhancements are new to CPQ in this release.
Add Custom Object as Related List on Quotes Page
Administrators can now add a custom object as a related list on Quote details page. Once settings are updated, changes apply to all Quotes.
API: PUT /api/config-management/v1/configuration
Sample setting to display Proposal Location, Production Configuration List, and ExternalUrlWikiPageNewTab in the Related List pane on the quote page.

}Administrator can enable this feature via feature flag.
For more information, see Creating Custom Objects on Quote Page.
Filter Cart Lines by Multiple Values
You can use the IN (Includes) operator in Advanced Filters on the Cart page to filter string fields using a comma-separated list of multiple complete values. This enhancement streamlines searching large datasets (such as serial number lists) in a single step without creating multiple individual filter criteria.
For more information, see Applying Advanced Filters on the Cart.
Configurable Price List Requirement in Quote APIs
CPQ administrators can create, update, and upsert quotes without a price list by enabling AllowQuoteOperationsWithNoPriceList. This allows you to create quotes first and select a price list later. The setting is disabled by default. You must select a price list before launching the cart.
Use the following API to enable the feature setting.
PATCH /api/revenue-admin/v1/feature-settings
For more information, see Conga Developer Portal.
Support for Expressions on Currency Attributes
The platform now supports using expressions to populate attributes of the Currency data type. This update enables attribute expressions referencing currency fields to correctly display values, aligning behavior with other supported data types.
Line Sequence in Line Item Error Messages
You can identify the specific cart line encountering an error by viewing its line sequence in line-item update error messages when detailed line-item error reporting is enabled. This helps you quickly pinpoint and troubleshoot errors across multiple line items.
For more information, see Cart APIs in Conga Developer Portal.
Embed Conga Dashboards and Reports in Salesforce
You can embed Conga Platform dashboards and reports in Salesforce using a reusable Lightning Web Component (LWC). Configure the component with different dashboard or report URLs and access embedded views from Account or Opportunity custom buttons without additional sign-in prompts.
Upsert Quote API: Support for Requests Without Quote ID
The Upsert Quote API allows creation of a new quote when the request payload does not include a Quote ID. If a Quote ID is omitted, the API creates a new quote without assigning an external ID, while existing behavior remains unchanged when a Quote ID is provided.
POST /api/quote/v1/quotes/upsert-quote
For more information, see Conga Developer Portal.
Support for Boolean Fields in Attribute Rule Actions
Attribute Rules now support the boolean data type for the "Allow", "Default", "Hidden", "Disabled", "Required", and "Reset" actions, enabling administrators to define and default True/False values for boolean attributes. This update allows for custom logic enforcement on true/false style attributes, aligning boolean handling with other supported data types.
For more information, see Creating a Product Attribute Rule.
Enhanced Bill To Display in Cart Group Headers
Cart group headers are enhanced to remove unwanted blue lines beneath the Bill To field in cart group headers. Previously, these lines appeared beneath the field even when it was not editable.
Enhancement: Advanced Search on Installed Products Page
On the Installed Products page, the "Includes" operator in Advanced Search filter allows you to enter multiple values for any field with a String data type. Separate the values with commas to quickly filter and locate relevant products.
Conga Advantage Platform Setup UI and Workflow Refactor
The Conga Advantage Platform Setup experience now consolidates integration configuration into three streamlined tabs: Connection Parameters, Quote Field Mapping, and Data Sync Management. Administrators can enter and validate connection details, manage quote field mappings using default or custom JSON, and access data sync management links, with backend Salesforce settings configured automatically and progress tracked through semantic status indicators. The updated workflow removes manual technical steps, provides actionable error guidance, and maintains existing data sync functionality without regression.
For more information, see Conga Advantage Platform Setup Wizard.
Embedded Experience: Location Navigation in Embedded CPQ
You can now access the Location related list and open Location details within CPQ embedded in Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics, without opening a new browser tab.
Embedded Collaboration Request Navigation
You can open Collaboration Requests from the quote related list and navigate their details within the embedded CPQ frame in Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics, without leaving your CRM.
Embedded Approval Navigation
You can open approval details from a quote’s Approvals related list and perform approval actions within the embedded CPQ frame in Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics, without opening a new tab or leaving your CRM.
Account Composite API for Account and Associated Contacts
Introducing Account Composite API which enables you to create or update an Account and its associated Contacts in a single API request, supporting multiple Contacts per Account.API: POST /quote/v1/accounts/upsert
Before you use this API, ensure that you have UpsertAccountSettings configuration included in api/config-management/v1/configurations
The upsert API creates a new Account when no matching Account record exists. If a matching Account is found, the API updates the existing Account instead. Similarly the API processes all Contacts associated with the Account in a single request. It creates new Contact records when no matching records exist and updates existing Contact records when matches are found. This enables the complete set of Account-related Contacts to be managed together through a single operation.
For more information, see Conga Developer Portal.
Introducing Account Hierarchy Object
The Account Hierarchy is introduced in Object List which represents relationships between business entities, including parent companies, subsidiaries, divisions, and branches, in a tree structure. This object enables a unified view of account relationships and supports accurate reporting across hierarchical levels.
For more information, see Objects in ‘Advantage Platform Administration’ documentation.
Service CPQ: Change Actions for Service Lines and Equipment
Sales representatives can now perform Change action on service asset and add/remove equipment product/asset after Change operation.
Recurring Rebate Calculation Based on Qualifying Lines
Recurring rebate calculations for For Every X Get X and For Every X Get Y methods now aggregate only qualifying cart lines before calculating recurrence. This change ensures accurate benefit calculations for rebates with line-level criteria. Group-only scopes without additional criteria retain their existing behavior. Existing rebates with criteria-based scopes may produce different results due to the updated calculation logic.
Compare Line Items API: Hierarchical Structure for Line Items in Quote Comparison
The Compare Line Items API now returns line items in a structured hierarchy, including primary and parent line numbers, depth level, and line item type (Bundle, SubBundle, Option, Standalone). This enables consistent display of bundle and option relationships in the Compare Quotes page, matching the hierarchy shown in the Cart grid. The response structure supports bundles up to five levels deep and maintains consistency across all compared quotes.
/api/cart/v1/quotes/compare/line-itemsFor more information, see Conga Developer Portal.
Hide Mass Copy Action Icon in Quote Cart
Administrators can now completely hide the mass copy action icon from the Cart page by configuring a custom CSS override. While the standard configuration property only disables the action, applying the CSS override removes the icon from the interface, preventing users from accidentally duplicating line items when duplicates are not allowed.
Mass Update Line Limit and Chunk Size Settings for Cart
You can control Mass Update using two new Config System Properties, MaxAllowedLinesForMassUpdate and CartLineItemsUpdateChunkSize to limit the number of selected cart lines and set the number of lines processed per request (default: 500). Mass Update is disabled when your selection exceeds the configured limit.
For more information, see Config Management APIs in Conga Developer Portal.
Activate Cart Version API
You can reactivate a previous cart version in a terminal status by passing reviseInPlace=true to the Revise Cart API. Your line items, adjustments, approvals, and version number are retained without cloning the cart. Existing cart-versioning validations still apply; the default behavior continues to create a new version.
For more information, see Cart APIs in Conga Developer Portal.
Asset Line Items and Approvals Related Lists in Embedded CPQ Experience
The Asset Line Items and Approvals related lists are now available and fully navigable within the embedded CPQ experience in both Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics. All detail page links for Asset and Approval records open within the embedded frame, while the Product link in Asset Line Items is displayed as non-clickable text. Existing behavior remains unchanged in standalone mode.
Quote to Contract: Support for Contract Creation and Update Across All Cart Statuses
Sales representatives can now create or update contracts from quotes regardless of the cart's status. The Agreement Line Items are generated from available cart lines without restriction when the cart status is one of the following:
New, Saved, Finalized, Pending Approval, Ready For Approvals, Approval Required, Ready For Finalization, In Collaboration
Selective line item selection, sync/async threshold, and cart cloning behaviors remain consistent across all supported statuses.
When cart status is "Superseded" or "Abandoned", a contract is created without the agreement line items.
For more information, see Creating a Contract.
Removal of GetExcludedOptionIds Invocation from Catalog Page
The catalog page no longer invokes the GetExcludedOptionIds method, allowing you to add option products independently to the cart from the product list. The method now filters options only during bundle configuration, preventing unintended exclusions on the catalog page and aligning option filtering with the configuration context.
Service Product Pricing Rollup for Asset-Linked Services
The Service Product Pricing feature introduces a configurable rollup method to calculate prices for asset-linked services using a price matrix based on dimensions such as Quantity, Product, and Option. If the price matrix is unavailable, the calculation defaults to the list price. You can configure the weightage amount or percentage for each related line item using the Weightage Amount and Weightage Type fields. The system validates the total weightage against the service product's net price, displays error messages when the values do not match, and disables saving until you correct the values.
Incentive APIs: Country and Region Scope Parameters
The Incentives APIs now support Country and Region parameters to include or exclude specific countries and regions from promotion criteria. When you omit these parameters, the API includes all countries and regions by default without validating the scope fields. The API synchronizes scope data to opensearch for runtime use.
For more information, see Incentive APIs in Conga Developer Portal.
Fixed Issues
The following issues are fixed in this release. If any actions are required, they will be listed in this table.
| Case Number | Conga Internal ID | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 01051335 | CPQ-112802 | Inserting line item data via a custom REST API intermittently fails, resulting in no line items being added to the cart during the cart configuration process on the Conga platform. |
| - | CPQ-112760 | The Revalidate functionality on the Conga Platform adds unapplicable options to the bundle structure during cart reconfiguration, even when these options belong to different price list items. This issue occurs when the Revalidate button is clicked after modifying the bundle structure, causing options from unrelated price list items to be added to the cart with empty prices. |
| NA | CPQ-112755 | Top header bar is not displayed when editing a product from the three-dot menu on the product listing page in the Revenue Admin UI. |
| - | CPQ-112725 | Picklist values on the CPQ Cart page do not display in the defined sequence as specified in the schema for the lineitem field. The sequence is applied only when the |
| NA | CPQ-112711 | Deal Guidance pop-up in the RLP cart displays the field's API name instead of its DisplayName when the Measure is set to Custom and a field is selected as the Custom Measure Source. |
| 01047915 | CPQ-112666 | Revenue Admin UI incorrectly displays syntax with underscores (e.g., NOT_, AND_) in the Expression Builder for Product Attribute Rules. This leads to invalid rule creation and impacts evaluation during cart operations. |
| NA | CPQ-112591 | Pricing calculations do not trigger automatically when a Field Expression updates the quantity of a related product, resulting in the price retaining its previous value instead of recalculating based on the updated quantity. |
| RPM-2469 | CPQ-112438 | Quick Attribute Modification before pricing completion causes the Quantity field on the Bundle Header to become editable, despite the IsQuantityReadOnly field being set to true for the Price List Item. |
| - | CPQ-112433 | Warning and CR messages are not visible on the configuration page when option groups are pinned. |
| NA | CPQ-112428 | When a Product Attribute Rule marks an attribute picklist as required and Constraint AVM is enabled, the required setting does not take effect if other Attribute Matrix Rules are configured. |
| - | CPQ-112400 | Dynamic values used as denominators in the adjustment source expressions of Price Matrix Entries trigger invalid expression errors. |
| - | CPQ-112315 | Extra space appears on the Installed Product page when navigating after creating a quote with an account and pricelist. |
| - | CPQ-111574 | Mass updates involving over 4,000 line items in the Conga Platform result in a Gateway Timeout error, causing the cart API items patch call to fail. |
Known Issues
The following unresolved issues are known to Conga at the time of this release.
| Conga Internal ID | Description |
|---|---|
| CPQ-112852 | For products with a Default Selling Term configured in PriceListItem, pricing correctly uses the selling term, but the proposal end date is not updated accordingly and instead retains the end date specified on the proposal. |
| CPQ-112780 | When an administrator adds a line item to a cart created by a non-admin user, the pricing callback uses the original user's context to query a custom object. The callback throws a |
| CPQ-112741 | When using Cart Grid Version 2 for demos, you may encounter significant UI discrepancies that affect the overall cart experience. |
| CPQ-112255 | Mismatched data in Quote Detail Header TCV vs Detail TCV. |
| CPQ-108340 | When you open a completed collaboration assignment, the More Details link may appear misaligned instead of displaying in the expected centered position. |
| CPQ-97591 | The product name header on the configuration page may stretch too far to the right at 80%, 90%, or 100% zoom, hiding the Summary section. This UI glitch appears while scrolling. |
| CPQ-95448 | The system displays AssetLineItemAttributes on the Installed Products page only after you click the expander icon for each asset, instead of showing them by default. |
| CPQ-92545 | The Auto-Inclusion constraint rule adds the product back to the cart even after it is deleted and a mass update is performed. This occurs regardless of the user’s preference to exclude the product. |
