Creating a Point Accrual
Creating a point accrual allows businesses to define how customers earn points in a loyalty program. It involves setting rules for point calculation based on products, regions, and customer accounts. By configuring a point accrual, businesses can automate tier qualifications and ensure a structured approach to rewarding customer loyalty.
Important:
Successful loyalty cycle initialization allows the system to create Point Accrual records correctly.
If you do not initiate the loyalty cycle:
- The enrollment cycle start date and end date may remain blank
- Loyalty point processing may remain incomplete
- Go to the Incentives and click Go next to the View drop-down.
