Activating a Price Agreement Manually
You can manually activate a Price Agreement for a new sale with an order intent.
Note:
Activating new agreement price rules with a new quote will replace old items and add new agreement price rules.
- To update the contract number manually, use the associated Quote Number for new Price Agreements or the Contract Number for modifications to an existing Contract Price List (PL).
- Set the Contract Item Number to the Proposal Line Item Name.
- Use the "Apttus_Config2.CPQWebService.activatePriceRules" API with the contract number as the parameter. This API will activate Agreement Price Rules with a "Finalized" status associated with the Contract and create or update the Contract Price List (Contract PL) and Contract Price List Item (Contract PLI) as needed.
