New Features and Enhancements
The following features are new to CPQ in this release.
Execution of Rebate Rule Entries
For a rebate, when the Tier Rate is selected, rebate rule entries are created in the Rate Table. The sequence in which the rebate rules entries are made, they are executed in the same sequence.
Enhancements to Bundle+Option Price Waterfall
As an Admin, you can configure the bundle calculation as Bundle+Option for each price point, allowing users to analyze the impact of options on the bundle across both OOTB and custom price points. This enhancement introduces additional adjustment types that can now be applied as manual adjustments in the price waterfall, including:
- Price Factor
- % Uplift
- Override
With this update, the price waterfall now supports all OOTB adjustment types.
Cart Collaboration: Deleting Line Items
In this release, when you delete the line item from the parent cart, CPQ also deletes affected lines from the child cart, including collaboration requests and the child cart. This functionality is only applicable to product or service line types.
Charge Lines are Hidden in Cart
When you add a Bundle with options, the charge lines for options that are selected are displayed in the cart. For the options which are not selected, the charge lines are not shown in the cart.
Enhancements to Bundle+Option Price Waterfall
As an Admin, you can configure the bundle calculation as Bundle+Option for every price point. allowing users to analyze the impact of options on the bundle across both OOTB and custom price points. With this enhancement, multiple group adjustments have been enabled, allowing users to apply multiple manual adjustments at the bundle level. These adjustments are then cascaded down to the option line items.
Cart Collaboration: Email Notifications
When you initiate the cart collaboration, CPQ sends an email notification to all collaborators mentioned in the assignee field. All emails that CPQ triggers are created using the default email templates defined in the backend system. This feature also triggers notifications for collaborators when you make changes and submit them for merging.
Cart Collaboration: Cloning Line Items
The enhanced cart collaboration feature now restricts you from cloning line items (products) without submitting an open collaboration request.
Enhancement to Cart Collaboration
You can not reassign a cart collaboration request to another user when the cart collaboration request status is submitted. This enhancement ensures better control over cart ownership, preventing unintended modifications after submission.
Quote Details Page: Ability to View Contracts
When the contract is created in the CPQ flow, the contracts are added to the Contracts available under the Related List on the quote details page. When you open the contract, the quote details page displays the contract with basic details such as Contract Name, Contract Number, Account, Status Category, Status, Contract Start Date, and Contract End Date.
