New Features and Enhancements
The following features are new to CPQ in this release.
Validation of RHS Field Values for Visibility Rules
The catalog service now validates field values when creating visibility rules applied at runtime. Administrators can compare RHS and LHS field values across supported data types (Boolean, String, Picklist, Multi-Picklist, Currency, Date, and Numeric) using permitted operators.
For more information, see Conga Developer Portal.
Workato API Integration for Quote Creation
Integrate the Workato API (create quote recipe) with the Conga UI to enable launching the WebUI within Microsoft Dynamics 365. After triggering quote creation, automatically navigate to the Conga quote detail page upon receiving the Workato recipe response.
Workato Recipe for Create Quote
Enable creation of quotes on the Platform using the Workato recipe, which syncs the associated Account, Contact, and Opportunity data. The quote is generated based on Opportunity field mapping defined in the recipe actions.
Supporting Quantity as a Benefit in Rebate Definition
You can now define rebate benefits as quantities of free-of-charge units instead of monetary adjustments across all methods (Buy X Get X, Buy X Get Y, For Every X Get X, and For Every X Get Y). The system auto-adds FOC product lines that do not affect net price but may impact margin formulas. The Admin API requires explicit benefit product selection for FOC lines, and config rules are not supported in this release.
Ownership Restrictions in Collaboration Requests
Users who are not part of a Collaboration Request queue cannot assign ownership to themselves or make changes using the Edit option.
Buy X Get X Rate Type Sequence and Mandatory Rate Table Column
You can now select Buy X Get X Rate Types in the order: Single Rate, Tier Rate, Rate Table – No Tiers, and Rate Table – With Tiers. For Rate Table options, you must define Column 1 before proceeding.
Storefront Settings Page Layout Update
The Storefront Settings page now displays the Storefront Name field at the top and groups the Logo and URL fields together at the bottom. The complete URL text is shown with ellipsis and hover functionality for improved visibility.
For more information, see Editing the Storefront Setting.
Calculate Rebate on Web UI
The Calculate Rebate feature on the Web UI now displays rebate estimation results on the waterfall as expected when using GraphQL. This update addresses previous issues where the cart page became unresponsive during rebate calculation.
Collaboration Child Cart Edit Permissions
Child cart fields in Collaboration remain read-only for all users except the assigned owner when the EnableCartLockingForConcurrentAccess feature flag is disabled. Only the owner can edit the child cart; all other users, including the requester, have view-only access until ownership is assigned.
For more information, see Quote Lifecycle Collaboration and Cart Settings.
Collaboration Request Status Update on Submit for Merge
The Collaboration Request status on the Cart page automatically updates to Completed upon clicking the Submit for Merge button within a collaboration request, eliminating the need to manually refresh the page.
Finalize Button State During Open Collaboration Requests
The Finalize button on the Cart and Quote Details pages remains disabled while a collaboration request is open, preventing quote finalization until all requests are accepted or canceled.
PAR Rule Backend Value Removal
When a PAR rule restricts picklist selections, the system now removes any previously saved value that is no longer allowed and sets it to null. This ensures consistent attribute data between the frontend and backend.
Field Expression Support for Lookup-Based Attributes
Field Expression now accepts lookup-based attributes in the expression value, allowing creation and saving of expressions such as $.Attribute.Attribute_Lookup.Name
. This update supports up to one level of lookup depth.
Approval Center Access from Salesforce
You can now open the Approval Center directly in Salesforce to review and act on approval requests across multiple transactions. Instead of navigating to each transaction separately, simply launch the Approval Center from a Salesforce tab with a single click. The Approval Center retains all existing functionality, and Salesforce manages authentication within the component. For more details, see Access Approval Center from Salesforce.
My Approvals Button for Collaboration Request as a Business Object
The Approvals app now supports approval requests originating from collaborator carts in CPQ. Approvers can click the new My Approvals button on the Collaboration Request object to view and take action on these requests directly from the Approvals UI. For more information about enabling this feature, see My Approvals Component Configuration in Salesforce.
Flow Setting: Hide Catalog and Explore Catalog Buttons
You can hide the out-of-the-box Catalog and Explore Catalog buttons in the CPQ Quote Web UI using flow settings. This prevents the impact on existing data because of specific flow requirements.
For more information, see Configuring Flow Settings.
Rebate Estimation Synchronization with Incentive Adjustment Line Items
Rebate estimation now reflects immediately in Incentive Adjustment Line Items after creating or updating a rebate program. The API supports the Ensure-Sync-To-Opensearch header parameter to guarantee real-time availability of new or updated rebate programs for calculation. This update benefits administrators and implementation teams by providing up-to-date rebate calculations without delay.
Validation of Translation for Bundle Map
This release introduces an updated version of validation translations on bundle map. The enhancement allows accurate multilingual content display while working with bundle maps. Administrators can now verify translation integrity across the operations improving consistency and reliability for global users. Also the two tabs, Basic Title 1 and Basic Title 2 in the Info panel are now removed.
API to Activate Migrated Cart with Same Status
A new API is introduced to support cart migration from Salesforce to the Conga Advantage Platform. The API maintains the cart’s original status (e.g., Finalized) and activation date during migration, ensuring data integrity. It also bypasses cart lock and unlock restrictions, allowing a seamless transfer process.
{{POST /api/cart/v1/carts/
{cartId}/migrate}}
For more information, see Cart APIs in Conga Developer Portal.
Approval and Collaboration Support for Main and Collaboration Carts
Support both Approval and Collaboration features on main and collaboration carts. The Submit for Approval button is only enabled when all collaboration requests are merged, based on both the ApprovalStatus and IsCollaborationPending fields. The cart’s Status does not reflect approval updates until collaboration is complete, ensuring both workflows operate without conflict.
For more information, see My Approvals Component Configuration in Salesforce and Merging Configurations in the Parent Cart.
CPQ Product Usage Analysis Dashboard – Product and User Insights
The CPQ Product Usage Analysis dashboard now includes reports for the most configured products and bundles, with metrics on counts, share, and average quote value, and a Top Performing Users report ranking users by quotes created with supporting performance metrics.
For more information, see Reports and Dashboards.
CPQ Pricing Analytics Dashboard Reports
The CPQ Pricing Analytics Dashboard now provides out-of-the-box reports for all tenants and organizations. These reports track key pricing metrics such as average adjustments, deal size, discounts, markups, and percentages for accepted quotes (closed-won deals).
For more information, see Reports and Dashboards.
Rebates Advanced Search Filter Behavior
You can now retain active filters when creating a rebate, and deleting filters shows all rebate programs in admin and cart flows.
Approval Center Access from Dynamics
You can access the Approval Center directly from Dynamics to view and manage open approval requests. Available actions include reassigning, approving, rejecting, searching, filtering, and expanding approval steps. The MyApprovals page provides a detailed view of individual items, while embedded navigation ensures a seamless experience when working with related links.
For more information, see Approval Center.
Validation - Contextual Product Indicators on Configuration Page
You can now see contextual indicators and validation messages directly on products when rules are triggered or violated, with clear error and rule markers that support multiple scenarios.
For more information, see Configuring Bundle Products.
Rebate API - Rebate Calculation on Waterfall (Bundle+Option Waterfall)
You can now view the Net After Rebate price point in the waterfall after Net Price, with rebate adjustments displayed in alphabetical order of the incentive program name. The API groups rebate adjustments by rule ID for bundle rollups and rolls up option product rebates to the parent bundle, ensuring consistency with existing waterfall logic.
Contextual Attribute Indicators on Configuration Page
Attributes now display visual indicators when Product Attribute Rules apply Allow or Disabled actions, or when an Attribute Value Matrix with type Constraint is applied. This makes it easier to identify affected attributes during configuration.
For more information, see Configuring Product Attributes.
Enhancement: Support for OR Operator in Advanced Filter Criteria
The Advanced filter supports the use of the OR operator along with AND parentheses within cart and product configuration pages. This enhancement enables you to create more flexible and complex filter associations, refining line item visibility within the cart. With this enhancement, you can define expressions such as 1 AND (2 OR 3) to return more accurate and targeted results.
The following enhancements are introduced in this release.
- Support for AND and OR operators with parentheses in advanced filters.
- No limit on the number of filter statements (supports more than 10).
- Ability to apply complex filters to cart lines and retrieve results via API.
- Option to save filters with OR logic in a cart view.
- Admin API supports saving cart views with advanced filter associations.
For more information, see Revenue Admin Interface.
Collaboration Requests Approvals
View approvals associated with collaboration requests in the Approvals related list and send line items from a collaborator’s cart for approval is enabled.
For more information, see Working with the Collaboration Request.
Support to Grey-Out already Associated Product Option Group
While performing the Associate Option Group with Product task, if the required option group is already associated with the product, then in the "Add Option Group to Product" panel, the group is greyed-out. Earlier an error message was displayed.
For more information, see Associating Option Groups with a Product.
Enable or Disable Configuration Rules for Flow
You can now use the new API property DisableConstraintRules
in {{GET/PUT api/revenue-admin/v1/flows/
/settings/configsystemproperties}} to enable or disable configuration rules for specific flows. When enabled, Constraint Rules, Attribute Rules, AVMs, and Expressions do not run during catalog, configuration, cart, and ABO operations, while bundle structure min/max rules continue to apply.
For more information, see Conga Developer Portal.
LineItem Solution Lookup Field and Filter Criteria Support
A new Customer Solution lookup field is added to the LineItem object, making it easier to link LineItems with ProposalLocation records. This update simplifies record selection in the cart and pricing flows by supporting advanced filters, helping users quickly find the right records. Administrators can also configure lookup settings and filter criteria for more accurate and efficient record management.
For more information, see Conga Developer Portal.
Handling ValidationCallBack Warning Messages
The system now shows warning messages from the ValidationCallBack API immediately when you finalize the cart. These messages appear as warnings instead of errors, giving accurate feedback and reducing confusion during checkout.
Cascade Benefits for Bundles in Promotions
You can enable the ‘Cascade Benefits for Bundles’ checkbox to automatically apply promotion benefits to all sub-bundles and nested options by mentioning only the parent bundle in Benefits. This helps you to avoid the effort of selecting multiple sub-bundles and options individually.
For more information, see Defining Information of a Promotion.
Fixed Issues
The following issues are fixed in this release. If any actions are required, they will be listed in this table.
Case Number | Conga Internal ID | Description |
