DC Quote UI Field Mapping Standardization

DC Quote UI standardizes field mapping for Sales User and Customer User across direct and e-commerce transactions. The system derives the Owner field from Account Owner or, if unavailable, from the Storefront-level Default Sales User, and captures the external user as the Requester.

For E-Commerce, the system removes Amount, ABO Type, Discount (%), Auto Activate Order, and Requester fields from the Quick Quote popup, and sets the Source Channel field as read-only with a default value of "E-Commerce".

Billing Address-Based Tax Calculation

System uses the billing address for tax calculation when billing and shipping addresses are the same, ensuring accurate tax results. Tax calculation triggers only on clicking Calculate Tax, helping maintain system performance and reliability.

Tax Calculation and Checkout UI Enhancements

The system enables buyers to manually trigger tax calculation using the Calculate Tax button, displays tax values as read-only in the cart totals modal, and prompts recalculation through a banner after quote updates. The checkout flow provides a stepper with distinct steps—Checkout, Preview, Payment, and Confirmation—displays line item details such as ID, Pricing UOM, and Charge Type, and supports flexible navigation and payment options. The system applies tax rates per line item based on the shipping address, uses fallback rates for unsupported states, and dynamically controls adjustment fields using the AllowManualAdjustment API field.
