New Features and Enhancements

The following enhancement is new to Merge Service in this release.

Legacy Merge Session ID Caching

The system now caches the Legacy Merge Session ID and reuses it for subsequent validation requests, reducing the need to generate new Session IDs for each request. When no cached Session ID exists, a new one is created and cached automatically.

Description

00971445 CONTRACTS-42066 Generated documents display the placeholder text "#ALTCHUNKENDPLACEHOLDER#" when a Rich Text Area (RTA) field is placed immediately after manually entered numbering (for example, "1.") in the template.
00969298 CONTRACTS-41623 Conditional segments fail to generate content when using multi-select picklist fields with the "APTS_TranslatePickValuesInDocs" admin entry set to true. The issue occurs when the admin entry uses theValue/Labelproperty for multi-select picklist fields in conditional segments.
00967503 CONTRACTS-40895 Alternate clausesare deleted when performing the "Regenerate with redlines" operation on a document containing commented alternate clauses in XAC Advanced.
00961906 CONTRACTS-40443 Document generation fails silently when triggered for specific records using the generateDoc API or the Generate button, producing no output or error message. The issue is observed only for certain records and does not affect others with similar configurations. Additionally, the problem is linked to the presence of unsupported characters in record fields, which disrupts the document generation process.
