New Features and Enhancements

The following enhancement is new to Merge Service in this release.

Legacy Merge Session ID Caching

The system now caches the SessionID for legacy Merge operations, enabling consistent session management across related processes. This update supports improved handling of session data for legacy Merge workflows.

Regenerate with Redlines: Smart Field Redlines and Value Retention in XAC Advanced

The Regenerate with Redlines feature in XAC Advanced now retains redlines applied to Smart Fields and preserves Smart Field values in regenerated documents, maintaining review context and tracked changes. This update addresses scenarios where Smart Field values and redlines were previously lost during regeneration, supporting accurate agreement review and lifecycle processes. For more information, see Regenerating an Agreement Document in X-Author for Contracts Advanced for Salesforce documentation.

Fixed Issues

The following table lists the issues fixed in this release. If any actions are required, they will be listed in this table.

Case Number

Conga Internal ID

Description

00974699 CONTRACTS-42627 Asynchronous document generation halts indefinitely when a repeat section in the template references fields from a self-lookup relationship on a custom object. This issue occurs regardless of the number of related records in the dataset, and the merge request remains in the Processing state without generating the document.
00971820 CONTRACTS-42516 The Compare function in XAC Advanced replaces all merge fields in the generated comparison document with the Customer Name field value from the agreement record, instead of displaying the actual field values from the compared versions.
00971825 CONTRACTS-42084 When regenerating documents with redlines using the API, merge field values from child agreements do not populate as expected. This issue occurs regardless of the admin entry configuration used.
00966754 CONTRACTS-41998 When regenerating documents with the "Regenerate with Redlines" option in XAC 2.0, the font size and style of Read-Only fields within repeat tables may change unexpectedly. This issue occurs after adding new Agreement Line Items to the Agreement Record and regenerating the document, resulting in inconsistent formatting between Read-Only fields and other rows in the repeat table.

Known Issues
