XAC Advanced: Advanced Filtering, Agreement Number Display, Admin Controls, and Template Storage Migration

Contracts and Templates pages in XAC Advanced now support advanced filtering, letting you narrow search results using multi-condition, field-based filters across all queryable fields on Agreement and Template objects. The experience mirrors the Clause Library filter for consistency across the application. For more information, see To search using the advanced search filter.

The Agreement Number now appears on the agreement details card when searching and selecting agreements in XAC Advanced, helping users verify the correct agreement before proceeding. For more details. see To open or open and update a contract document.

Administrators can now control the visibility of the Send for Review and Check In button in XAuthor using an organization-level setting. Unchecking the checkbox in XAuthor does not affect Parallel Review initiated from Salesforce using the Agreement Action button. For more information, see APTS_ShowSendforReviewAndCheckInButton.

Customers using X-Author Advanced will see fewer permission requests during authentication through the Conga Auth Connected App. Only the permissions required for X-Author functionality are requested, reducing unnecessary consent prompts and improving authentication clarity and security.

Clause Library Builder: Salesforce Extension

Clause Library Builder introduces an improved template creation experience with AI-powered document processing, extraction, review, and publishing. A default worksheet with standard clauses, language provisions, and contract fields is available out of the box, eliminating manual worksheet configuration. Template administrators can also create and manage templates directly in Salesforce, including reviewing AI-extracted clauses and fields and publishing them to Salesforce CLM with synchronization, status tracking, error handling, and retry options.

Additional enhancements include automated notifications when AI processing is complete, with links to the template and details for failed processing. Administrators can view error information directly from templates in the Error stage. The Conga Templates page also introduces a consolidated New Template option that dynamically provides available creation methods based on enabled applications and licenses, replacing the separate Upload Template option.
