Restrictions for what user groups can update or modify the quote contents can be defined in the collaboration portal model using the Delete Action State Visibility setting in the Quote → Data tab

To set which groups have Delete permission to edit or delete products from the Quote List View, navigate to the Delete Action Session State Visibility section in the Data tab.

To manage which groups have delete permissions at the Quote Line Item level, click the Configure:

1. On the Delete Action Session State Visibility section, click Configure
2. In the Session State picker dialog, click to add or remove which Session states have delete rights.
3. Click Save once finished editing.
   
   

To manage permissions of which users and/or groups have edit permissions for Columns and Lines in the Quote, refer to the Session States.

The Collaboration Portal model inherits the same CRUD permission on columns and line templates used from the Quote Model. To restrict what update and delete rights users have on individual columns or product properties, you need to define which Session States have CRUD permissions on each column and/or field.

Permissions are set by checking the items for a given element (Step, page, action, line template, etc.). To select everything, click on the box next to the name of the session state.

Use the Filter button in the upper right corner to filter the list if needed.
