Contract Tab

Overview

In addition to the ‘Overview’, ‘Content’ and ‘Proposal’ tabs described in this document, a ‘Contract’ tab can also be configured. Its purpose is to integrate a contract management module provided by SpringCM®.

This feature is only available if the user is using the proper SpringCM® license.

Within this interface, you can manage contracts from the SpringCM® plugin. Please refer to SpringCM® documentation to learn more about SpringCM® functionalities.

How to Activate the Contract Tab in Force.com

In order to activate the ‘Contract’ tab, you have to modify a specific custom setting. Navigate as follows:

  • Click on Setup
  • Click on Develop in “App Setup”
  • Click on Custom Settings
  • Click on Manage for the “PROS CPQ settings” set
  • [From the Custom Settings]
    • If you want to activate the ‘Contract’ tab, specify for the ‘Quote Panel CONTRACT Tab Visibility’ setting the list of quote statuses for which the tab should be displayed. The list of statuses should be separated with commas.
    • Example: “Draft”,“In Review”, ... or “NONE” (default) or “ALL”.

How to enable the sync between CPQ and SpringCM®

    • SpringCM_SOAP_WS
      • Remote site URL = https://{yourSpringCMServer}.salesforce.com
      • {yourSpringCMServer} value can be retrieved form the SpringCM support or by taking example on other remote sites automatically created by SpringCM package.
