Test Steps

Editing a Test Step

Using the Test Author web UI you can edit the details of a test step.
  1. On the Test Author home page, do one of the following to view the list of test steps that are already created.
    • Click Test Step in the right pane.
    • Go to Design > Test Step in the left pane.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Click the More icon () next to the name of the test step and click Edit.
    • Click the name of the test step and click Edit.
  3. The edit panel is the same as the create test step panel. Edit the fields as required and click Update. For more information on the fields and the descriptions, see Creating a test step.
