Working with Contract AI

Contract AI and Discovery AI for Salesforce Users

Contract AI for Salesforce Users

To access the Contract AI features as a Salesforce user, you must first purchase the Contract AI feature package. Contact your account representative or Conga Support for more information. Contract AI features include Aime Assistant, Clause AI Comparison, and Redline AI.

Once you have purchased the Contract AI feature package, you must first configure your Salesforce org to work with Conga Advantage Platform. You will be given limited Conga Advantage Platform access to manage your Contract AI features.

To configure your Salesforce org, follow the CLM for Salesforce AI Configurator steps.

We recommend the following as a best practice:

  • Whenever using a Conga for Advantage Platform tenant, use the X-Author for Contracts Advanced (Prod) add-in on Microsoft Word to log in to X-Author Contracts Advanced with Salesforce Production credentials.

  • When using the Conga for Advantage Platform Preview tenant, use the X-Author for Contracts Advanced (Preview) add-in on Microsoft Word to log in to X-Author Contracts for Advanced with Salesforce Sandbox/UAT credentials.

  • Aime Assistant and Redline AI do not support contract documents of 12 or more MB.

After you have completed the CLM for Salesforce steps, you can sync your data between X-Author for Contracts Advanced to a Salesforce or Conga Advantage Platform org using the Connect to CRM feature.

When the above setup activities are complete, you will have full access to the Contract AI features. For more information on how to use each of the Contract AI features with X-Author for Contracts Advanced, see Working with Contract AI.

Discovery AI for Salesforce Users

To access the Discovery AI features as a Salesforce user, you must first purchase the Discovery AI product. Contact your account representative or Conga Support for more information. Discovery AI features include the ability to compare standard clauses and review import results.

To configure your Salesforce org to work with Discovery AI, follow the CLM for Salesforce AI Configurator steps.
