X-Author Contracts can be used to create agreement sections from selected agreement document text. These sections get inserted into the Agreement Clause related list associated with an agreement. Subsequently, they can be selected from the Playbook and inserted into other agreement documents. This feature provides the same functionality as manually creating a new agreement clause object in Salesforce.
To create a section
You must have an agreement document open.
Highlight text in the agreement document and from the X-Author Contracts tab, select Create > Section.
In the Create Section dialog, select values for the following fields: Action, Category, Exception, Risk Rating, Materially Significant, and Status. These fields are used when searching for clauses in the Playbook.
