You can open the Salesforce record of an active Template or Agreement document from within X-Author Contracts using Open in Salesforce feature.

Add-in features that are associated with Update From Salesforce, Playbook Access from the X-Author Contracts Tab, and Import Offline Documents are not currently available for custom objects.

Prerequisites

  • You must upgrade to X-Author Contracts 7.2.1104 in order to utilize this feature. You must be using X-Author Contracts 7.2.1104 or higher in order to use this feature.
  • You must be logged into Salesforce with an active session from X-Author Contracts.

The Open in Salesforce button enables you to view the corresponding Agreement document or Template in your Salesforce org. When you click Open in Salesforce button for either an Agreement document or Template, the corresponding record opens in your default web browser.
