The Check-Out action provides the runtime user with a list of all files previously checked into the designated object or record and they can select one of those files to open. This then locks the file for other users until it is checked back in by the current user.
Because the workbook is checked out from a single record, you must have at least one object identified as Individual. You must also have at least one Check-In action.
To create a Check-Out action
Click on the arrow beneath the Actions button and select Check-Out.
In the Action Name field, type a descriptive name for the action.
From Object, select an object and click Save. The list of objects will include any object marked as Individual in Objects.
