Conga Contracts for Salesforce allows you to reassign clause level approvals to other users. For example, Joe was assigned an indemnification clause to approve, but Jane is the expert in that area. Joe can reassign the clause approval to Jane for her to review.

To reassign a Clause Level approver, take the following steps:

  1. Click the review link in your email that takes you to the Approve Changes page, and click an assigned clause under your name, OR view your Clause Level Approval Requests and click the View Approval Items button.
  2. After reviewing the clause, if you determine that it needs to be reassigned to another approver, click the Change Approver button in the lower right hand corner.
  3. Under the Select Approver dropdown, you can select any of the Approvers from the Selected Approvers list for this clause. If the Approver isn't listed, an Administrator must add them as a Selected Approver.
  4. Add any necessary comments.
  5. Click the Reassign all my items checkbox if you want to reassign all clauses currently assigned to you for review to this new approver.
  6. Click Confirm.

The reassigned Approver will receive an email with a link to the Approve Changes page.
