Getting Started with Conga Contracts for Users
Before using Conga Contracts, it is recommended that you perform start-up tasks and familiarize yourself with the Tools menu, Search and Report features, and the hierarchy used to store data.
Before using Conga Contracts, it is recommended that you:
Set up yourUser Preferences, which include changing yourpassword; entering yourname,address, andcontact information; selectingdata formats and the UI theme; and determining theemail notificationsyou receive when you are a member of a team.
Customizeandfilterthe data in yourAll Companies browse screen, which includes managing the columns of data that display and the number of records that display in each screen.
Review the components of aCompany Profile, which stores basic information on the company and contains aToolbarandLinksto company-related features.
Review the components of aContract Profile, which stores basic information on the contract and contains aToolbarandLinksto contract-related features.
Add navigation, reminder, and chartingPortletsto your Home page, which keep you updated on your upcoming responsibilities and provide quick links to the companies, contracts, and projects you work on frequently.
Once you have completed these startup tasks, it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the following:
