Working with Conga Copilot

Summarizing a Document

  • User has access to agreement records.
  • An agreement record has associated agreement documents.
  • User has Conga Copilot access.

Conga Copilot can summarize an agreement document, making it easier to review lengthy contracts. The Summary feature available in Conga Copilot enables users to generate these summaries efficiently.

To generate a document summary
  1. Select an agreement from the Agreements tab.
  2. Go to Documents > Agreement Documents section. This displays a list of agreement documents.
    Note:
    • You can open DOC, DOCX, and PDF file formats.
    • You can only select one document at a time for summarization.
  3. Click the Copilot link available for the document. This action opens the document window on the left displaying the document details and the CO-PILOT window on the right.
  4. In the CO-PILOT window, click the Summary icon (). opens the DOCUMENT SUMMARY window showing the summary in two sections: a contract summary section that highlights the key points related to the document and a brief summary section that offers a concise overview of the agreement document.


    Note:

    When you request a summary of the same document again, Copilot delivers the previously stored response instead of conducting another AI analysis.
