Editing Project Information

The Project Profile includes system information and uploaded data, and both can be edited.

The Project Profile includes both system information and uploaded data. System information includes the project name, description, type, status, and start/stop dates, and also identifies the people who will be working on the project. Uploaded data includes the Company Profiles, Contract Profiles, and files that are added to the project. You can edit both system information and uploaded data.

Editing System Information

  1. Click Contracts or Companies in the Navigation Toolbar, and then click the Projects link in the menu.
  2. In the Projects screen, locate the project you want to edit, and click on it to select it.
  3. In the Project Profile screen, click Edit in the toolbar.
  4. When the screen displays in edit mode, update the information in the fields and lists, as needed.
  5. Click Save.

    If a flow is associated with a project, you can complete a step in the flow, manage flow documents, and invalidate the flow.

Editing Uploaded Data

  1. Click Contracts or Companies in the Navigation Toolbar, and then click the Projects link in the menu.
  2. In the Projects screen, locate the project you want to edit, and click on it to select it.
  3. In the Project Profile screen, you can make the following edits to the uploaded data in the Menu section of the screen:
    • Add a Company or Contract Profile to the project, or a folder to organize the existing profiles.
    • Click Add Item in the Menu section, and select Add Company, Add Company, or Add Folder.
      • In the Selection window for contracts and companies, click on a profile to add it to the project. In the Create a Folder prompt, enter the name of the folder to be used to organize profiles, and click Submit.
    • Edit the information in a Contract or Company Profile by clicking on it to display a tab for the Profile to the right of the active Project tab.
    • Click a tab to display its Company or Contract Profile, and make the necessary edits.
    • Click - delete to close the tab.
    • Move a Contract or Company Profile (or folder) by clicking on it, and then dragging-and-dropping it to the new location.
    • Ensure the 1 selected mode message displays to successfully move the profile or folder.
    • You can drag a Contract Profile into a Company Profile (and vice versa), and also change the hierarchy of the profiles. To quickly change a Company or Contract Profile from the second tier to the first tier in a hierarchy, drag the profile to the top folder in the Menu section.
    • Delete a Contract or Company Profile (or folder) in the Menu section by right-clicking on it, and selecting delete.
  4. Make the necessary edits to the project's workflows, flows, tasks, documents, additional forms, scorecards, and messages.
  5. In a project flow, you can complete steps, manage flow documents, and invalidate the flow.
