Enhancements
The following enhancements are new to CPQ in this release.
Support for Custom Fields in Mini Cart
You can display custom fields in the Mini Cart when they are configured for your cart. Custom fields with values are shown alongside your existing Mini Cart fields; fields with null or no value are not displayed.
Integration HUB Solution for Quote Operations and MS CRM/RLP Integration
The new Integration HUB solution enables all Quote operations, including creating quotes and managing related lists, in newly onboarded development organizations. Users can integrate Microsoft CRM and RLP systems using the Integration HUB powered by Workato, replacing the previous Power Automate solution.
Abandoned Cart Handling Based on Settings
You can control whether abandoned carts are retained or deleted based on the Keep Abandoned Carts and Cart Versioning settings. When you enable Keep Abandoned Carts (Application settings > General Settings), abandoned carts stay in the system with an Abandoned status even if you later reconfigure from that quote, which creates a new cart with status New. When you disable Keep Abandoned Carts, abandoned carts are completely deleted, regardless of whether cart versioning is enabled.
For more information, see General Settings.
Improved Cart APIs for Data Accuracy Updates
The Get Cart Status, Get Metadata, and Get Line Numbers endpoints now prevent duplicate line numbers and apply filters correctly to option line items. These updates improve data accuracy for administrators and implementation teams managing cart and metadata information.
For more information, see Cart APIs in Conga Developer Portal.
Catalog API: Return Fields for Eligibility Rules
The Catalog APIs now retrieve the fields used in Eligibility Rules, helping you identify the data points required for rule execution and configure eligibility criteria more effectively in your catalog.
For more information, see Catalog APIs in Conga Developer Portal.
Price Guidance Rules Integration in Legacy Price Waterfall
Administrators can enable the “EnablePriceWaterfallGuidance” setting to activate price guidance across the legacy price waterfall. The Pricing API evaluates and returns guidance values such as floor, target, ceiling, and recommended for each price point based on active rules and quote context. Sales reps can view real-time guidance indicators alongside actual prices, with values also available in API responses and exports.
For more information, see Conga Developer Portal.
Advanced System Settings for Technical Support and Professional Services using API
The Advanced System Settings using API provides a secure, centralized interface for managing backend configuration options, accessible only to users with Technical Support or Professional Services roles. Access is strictly controlled through role-based permissions, and unauthorized users receive an access denied message.Feature settings are managed as key–value pairs, with a JSON file maintaining all settings, default values, and metadata, serving as seed data and fallback during onboarding or upgrades. API endpoints allow viewing and updating feature settings, supporting auditability and reducing risk of misconfiguration.
GET /api/revenue-admin/v1/feature-settings: Retrieve all feature settings
PATCH /feature-settings: Updates one or more feature settings with the provided boolean values. All feature setting keys must be valid and non-empty.
GET /feature-settings/{featureSettingName}: Retrieve a single feature setting by name.
Selected Products Display in Bundle Configuration Page
The Selected Products section appears above the product name and shows the count of selected items in brackets. It displays line-item details aligned with catalog page settings for a consistent experience. Eligibility rules help guide valid service selections, while the related lines icon stays hidden when component relationships are not supported.
Auto-Publish Support for ConstraintRuleCondition Updates
The system auto-publishes related service products when the Match In - Related Line field is updated in a Constraint Rule Condition. This applies to both direct changes and data sync imports, ensuring updated configuration behavior is available immediately.
For more information, see Creating a Constraint Rule Condition.
Rebate Listing Grid Extensibility for Cart-Embedded View
Administrators can configure the rebate listing grid in the cart to control column visibility and suppress specific row-level actions. The system requires hiding columns to restrict editing and applies these settings only to the cart-embedded view without impacting other pages or organizations.
For more information, see Working with the Cart Page and Cloning a Rebate.
Product Name Sorting in Custom Views
The Product Name field is now available by default in the Sort By dropdown when configuring custom views on the cart page. Users can sort cart items by Product Name in both ascending and descending order, even if the field is not selected as a display column in the view.
For more information, see Applying Advanced Filters on the Cart.
Admin API Support for Summary-level Deal Guidance
You can now use the revenue admin APIs to create, update, and manage summary-level deal guidance rules for Summary Lines. You configure color bands, dimensions, dimension sets, guidance rules, scope, criteria, and rule entries using the existing line-level guidance model.
You can use the following endpoints with the DealGuidanceRule object to enable quote-level guidance based on grand total calculations:
POST /api/revenue-admin/v1/deal-guidance-rulesPATCH /api/revenue-admin/v1/deal-guidance-rules{{PATCH /api/revenue-admin/v1/deal-guidance-rules/{Id}}}
You also use the updated GuidanceTypePickList and BusinessObjectPickList to configure summary-level guidance for summary lines.
For more information, see Admin APIs in Conga Developer Portal.
Quote to Contract Creation
You can now selectively include line items when creating contracts. The Create Contract panel also supports basic and advanced search, pagination, and export capabilities. When the cart is empty, contracts can be created without any line items. When 'QuoteToContractCopyCart' setting is set to True, the entire cart is cloned and associated with the contract. The default setting is false. Support has been added to sync updated carts with existing contracts, ensuring continued alignment with negotiated terms.Appropriate error messages are displayed where necessary.
For more information, see Creating a Contract and Updating a Contract.
Roll-up Lines Match the Headers
Lease roll-up lines and Service roll-up lines match their corresponding Header Lease and Header Service values as expected.
Clone Service Products
In this release, You can clone a service product in the cart and automatically duplicate its associated line items and related lines. This helps you quickly create separate service coverage while preserving all relevant associations for the new service product.
For more information, see Working with the Service Cart.
Associate Eligible Services to Products
The system enables association of one or more service products to products in the cart, allowing sales representatives to add upsell services to quotes. Service options within service bundles inherit product relationships from their parent and can be linked to multiple parts of a product bundle when the service bundle is associated with those parts.
Navigation to Asset Details from Related List in Quote
When a quote is accepted and assets are created, then in the Quote, under Related List, click on Assets. You are redirected to the Assets Details Page in the Asset360 application which opens in a new tab.For more information, see Viewing Quote Details and Viewing Asset Related Details.
Mass Update Dropdown Search and Window Resizing
The Mass Update window now provides a search bar in dropdown lists, enabling users to filter and quickly locate service levels from extensive lists. The window size is increased to display more fields, reducing the need for scrolling.
For more information, see Working with the Cart Page.
Asset Transaction Chart with Net Price and Quantity
View a consolidated chart of asset transactions displaying net price and quantity for each asset line item. Access a unified related list that combines asset history and transaction history to facilitate comprehensive review and analysis of rate changes and amendments.
For more information, see Viewing Asset Related Details.
Collaboration Request Status API for Quote Updates
The Collaboration Request Status API updates the associated Quote status when the Collaboration Request status changes to Accepted or Rejected in the Digital Commerce user interface. The API validates input, maintains idempotency, logs errors, and records audit details to support data consistency and downstream workflows. This update does not impact existing Quote update workflows or integrations.
For more information, see Cart APIs in Conga Developer Portal.
Configurable Attribute-Level Spinner in Product Configuration UI
A configurable spinner appears next to each attribute to indicate when configuration processing is in progress, such as during rule, dependency, or expression evaluation. Administrators can enable this using the “DisplayAttributeLoadingIcon” setting in Cofig System Properties to provide clear, attribute-level feedback during configuration.
For more information, see Update custom settings associated with a flow in Conga Developer Portal.
Primary Quote Management for Opportunities with Multiple Quotes
Sales users can associate multiple quotes with an opportunity but can designate only one quote as primary per opportunity. The following rules are enforced:
- If a new quote is designated as primary, all other associated quotes are automatically updated to non-primary.
- A primary quote can be directly set to non-primary using Update API.
Appropriate validations are performed and descriptive error messages are displayed. This is functionality relies on the EnablePrimaryQuoteManagement feature setting. By default, this setting is disabled.
GET /api/config-management/v1/configurations/cpq/featuresettings
Dynamics UI Field Sync for Picklist, Multipicklist, and Boolean Values
Picklist, Multipicklist, and Boolean field values in Dynamics UI now sync directly to RLP via the Workato public connector, maintaining consistency across Create, Update, and Delete operations. Syncing respects UI values and prevents recipe defaults from overwriting them, with error handling for invalid connector responses. Backward compatibility is preserved for existing flows.
View Asset Hierarchical Tree Structure for an Account
Within an Account, in the Asset tab you can now view all assets in a hierarchical tree structure. You can expand or collapse the asset nodes as required.
For more information, see Viewing Asset Details for an Account.
Preview favorite information on the Catalog page
You can configure which fields appear in the Favorite Information preview on the Catalog page using Display Column Settings. By default, The Name, Description, Quantity, and Net Price fields are displayed, and you can add custom line item fields. Restricted fields such as ID, ETag, and AddedByRuleInfo are not available for display, and existing Display Column Settings behavior remains unchanged.
For more information, see Configuring Catalog Page Settings.
Change Quantity: Validation and Button Behavior Updates
The Go To Pricing button is disabled when an error message is displayed during the Change Quantity operation, preventing further actions until the error is resolved. The New Quantity field enforces the defined Quantity Precision setting, displaying values with the correct number of decimal places as configured in the organization.
Managing Line Items in Multi-Tier Cart Collaboration Requests
You can update or delete specified fields for primary and option line items in collaborator carts assigned to them using the Cart API with multi-tier collaboration. Collaboration requests support reassignment, requiring each collaborator to submit changes in reverse order before final submission.
For more information, see Cart APIs in Conga Developer Portal.
Add Line Items to Multi-Tier Cart Collaboration Requests
You can add new primary and option line items to a collaboration cart within a multi-tier collaboration request using the Cart API. The collaboration cart supports repricing, configuration rules, and restricts visibility to assigned line items and specified fields, with the Submit for Merge action replacing approval and finalize actions.
For more information, see Cart APIs in Conga Developer Portal.
Ability to Cancel or Delete Cart Collaboration Requests
You can cancel or delete collaboration requests on carts to revoke access for collaborators and update the request status to Cancelled, Abandoned, or Deleted based on the main cart's status. Reset the product configuration status to Saved when a collaboration request is cancelled, and automatically delete collaboration requests when the main cart is superseded. Only users with Modify/Delete access on CollaborationRequest can cancel an existing collaboration request.
For more information, see Cart APIs in Conga Developer Portal.
Admin API: Price Guidance Rules
Guidance rules enable display of reference price points such as floor, target, and ceiling without impacting actual pricing. They support Dimension and Condition types, allow multiple rules per price point, and show visual indicators for each value. The RuleSubType defaults to "Price," remains non-editable after creation, and supports only Percentage and Flat Amount adjustments with defined restrictions.
For more information, see Retrieve waterfall rules and Retrieve waterfall rule entries in Conga Developer Portal.
Auto Finalization on Cart Approval
You can automatically finalize a cart’s configuration when the cart is approved by enabling the Auto Finalize On Cart Approval property in Config System Properties. When you turn this on, the cart’s configuration status is set to Finalized after approval. For collaborative carts, you still need to use Submit for Merge to finalize. The constraint rules and COF execution are not triggered during this automatic finalization.
For more information, see cart APIs in Conga Developer Portal.
Fixed Issues
The following issues are fixed in this release. If any actions are required, they will be listed in this table.
| Case Number | Conga Internal ID | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 00964959 | CPQ-106752 | Attributes fail to populate for products added via Constraint Rules (CR) in the Conga Platform. This occurs because the Config Callback does not retrieve the required product field values, leaving attributes blank. |
| 00963417 | CPQ-106530 | Search functionality in the lookup field popup on the cart page does not return results when using keywords, despite matching records being present. The API call for search includes the searchText parameter, resulting in a status code 204 and no content returned. |
| 00963287 | CPQ-106270 | Cart UI in the Conga Platform displays misaligned elements, including greyed-out sections at the bottom and inconsistent alignment between the left and middle sections when scrolling. |
| 00961303 | CPQ-106108 | When multiple bundles are present in the cart and Inclusion Type Constraint Rules are configured, the system may add the option product to an incorrect bundle instead of the intended one. |
| HEX-455 | CPQ-89479 | In some cases, when the browser window size increases, certain columns may not render in the cart UI. Scrolling horizontally renders the missing columns. |
Known Issues
The following unresolved issues are known to Conga at the time of this release.
| Conga Internal ID | Description |
|---|---|
| CPQ-106878 | Cloning a proposal record does not create associated line item records when the cloned quote contains invalid or missing line number values. |
| CPQ-106758 | Cart reactivation fails for large carts due to a configuration timeout after 3 minutes. This issue may prevent successful reactivation in high-volume scenarios. |
| CPQ-106497 | Constraint Rules fail to auto-include options for bundle products when standalone products are added in a specific sequence. This issue occurs when the bundle product is added to the cart by one rule and its options are expected to be included by another rule. |
| CPQ-106089 | Product Attribute Rules configured with criteria and Product Group scope may cause performance degradation in large carts. This can result in slower rule evaluation and increased cart load time. |
| CPQ-106071 | You observe incorrect lookup values on cart line items when you reopen a lookup field after selecting values on multiple lines. Initially, the Query API returns the correct values based on the filter criteria (for example, lineitem.Product.Name), but when you go back to a previous line and click the same lookup again (such as |
| CPQ-106054 | Creation and Deletion of Adhoc group causes products to disassociate from previously created groups when a new group is created without saving or when an existing group is deleted. This issue affects the grouping and persistence of products within adhoc groups. |
| CPQ-105047 | When reopening a saved cart, the Cart hides the scroll bar, which limits navigation. |
| CPQ-97591 | The product name header on the configuration page may stretch too far to the right at 80%, 90%, or 100% zoom, hiding the Summary section. This UI glitch appears while scrolling. |
| CPQ-95448 | The system displays AssetLineItemAttributes on the Installed Products page only after you click the expander icon for each asset, instead of showing them by default. |
| CPQ-92545 | The Auto-Inclusion constraint rule adds the product back to the cart even after it is deleted and a mass update is performed. This occurs regardless of the user’s preference to exclude the product. |
