Contracts for Salesforce Cycle Time reporting can automatically create cycle definitions using fields from the Contract Agreement object. These definitions allow you to track the time it takes for users to complete tasks from start to finish through their Contract Lifecycle Management process. If you would like to use out-of-the-box default cycle definitions, see Creating Default Cycle Definitions.

To use other objects, you must first setup object configuration using the Cycle Time Reporting configurator

Prerequisites

Follow the steps to enable cycle time reporting.

To create a new custom Cycle Definition

  1. Navigate to Conga CLM Setup.
  2. Click Cycle Time Reporting.
  3. Click General.
  4. Click New.
  5. Check Active to activate your new definition. 
  6. Select an Object Name.
  7. Select a From Value.
  8. Select a Field Name.
  9. Select a To Value.
  10. Select your Business Hours. 
  11. Enter an optional description of the definition in the Description field. 
  12. Click Save

To edit a Cycle Definition

  1. Navigate to Conga CLM Setup.
  2. Click Cycle Time Reporting.
  3. Click General.
  4. Click on the pencil icon to the right of the cycle definition you want to edit. 
  5. Make your changes. 

    You can edit the Description and Category, but core fields are locked and disabled from editing. Editing these core fields can result in inaccurate Cycle Time Reporting calculations. If you need to modify the core fields, delete the existing cycle definition and create a new one. 

  6. Click Save
