Instant Upgrade
Instant Upgrade is a feature that allows you to start the upgrade instantly. The page consists the records of all the Upgrade Jobs performed till date.
The list of Upgrade Job Records has the following details:
Fields | Description |
|---|---|
Job Id | The unique Id for all the schedule jobs performed in this org. Note: Click on the Job Id to see more details for the particular job. |
Organization Name | The name of the organization will be displayed here. |
Job Start Date | The day and date when the the job was initiated. |
Job Duration | Duration required to complete the process. |
Release Name | The name of the release installed in the org. |
Job Status | The status of the job whether it is success, or skipped. |
This page has following features:
Upgrade to latest GA package
In this section, a button with the latest major release version is present. To upgrade the org to latest GA package:
- Click the latest major release version button.
- A pop up displays with the Name, Installed Version and the Target Version columns for all the packages. You can see if the package needs to be upgraded, if it is highlighted by the (
) icon on the Target Version.
- Click OK.
- Click Confirm in the Release upgrade confirmation pop up.
Upgrade package
The Upgrade package section allows you to upgrade the packages from the latest patches, hotfixes, or major release. To upgrade the org to latest release package:
- Select the Release version, you want to install packages for.
- Click the Upgrade Now button.
- A pop up displays with the Name, Installed Version and the Target Version columns for all the packages. You can see if the package needs to be upgraded, if it is highlighted by the (
) icon on the Target Version.
- Click OK.
- Click Confirm in the Release upgrade confirmation pop up.
