Setting Up Loyalty Program

Configuring Field Dependencies

Configuring field dependencies links the Loyalty and Point Accrual fields to ensure accurate point calculations for loyalty-based incentives. This setup maintains data consistency and improves incentive management.
To configure field dependencies
  1. From the Setup > Custom Object > Incentives > Custom Fields & Relationships screen, scroll to the Field Dependencies section.
  2. Click Application Sub-Type Edit button to configure dependencies between Loyalty and Point Accrual fields.
    Edit Field Dependencies screen appears.
  3. Locate the Loyalty column.
  4. Select Loyalty from the list and click Include Values to add it, or double-click the Loyalty value to include it.
    Note: The system highlights the selected fields in yellow to indicate their inclusion.
  5. Repeat the process for the Point Accrual field.
  6. Click Save.
The system adds the Loyalty value to the Incentive object and establishes field dependencies to link it with Point Accrual fields.
