Adding Custom Locale
To create a custom locale, you need to first add a custom locale name and then add relevant locale code for the locale name. You can then set up custom locales to create localized templates or contracts in X-Author Contracts. You can select the number precision and currency precision according to your requirement, but the date format and number format are displayed based on the Locale Code.
Prerequisite
- Ensure to format the Locale Names and Locale Codes correctly as there is no system validation on these values.
- You cannot create duplicate locales or create locales with the standard Locale Names which come available with the Contract Management application (refer to Standard Locale Names and Locale Codes).
- You must provide the Locale Code in <ISO Language code>-<ISO Country code> format. The locale code is not case sensitive.
To add a custom locale
- Go to .
- Click the Template Locale hyperlink.
- In the Custom Fields & Relationships section, click the Locale Code hyperlink.
- In the Values section, click New.
- Enter the locale code.
- Click Save.
- Navigate back to Template Locale.
- In the Custom Fields & Relationships section, click the Locale Name hyperlink.
- In the Values section, click New.
- Enter the locale name.
- Click Save.
- In the Locale Name page, navigate to the Field Dependencies section and click Edit before Locale Code.
- Click Next and find the locale name that you have added.
- Select the locale code that you have added.
- Click the Include Values button.
